The latest update was applied a couple of days ago which you can read about here, but I wanted to tell you about one of the new features of this update.

Introducing the Treasure Bandit!

These guys will appear randomly whilst you are going about your business farming or questing and once they realise they have been seen, will make a mad dash to escape. Should you catch one and defeat it before it escapes, it will drop the treasure it stole from the vendors around Arcana.

Treasure ranges from epic armor and weapons for lower level players to ores, keys and other goodies for the high level players, but in all cases there will be costume accessories and mounts stolen from the vendors of Sandfall Desert.

Catching a Treasure Bandit isn't that simple though. They don't take damage like normal monsters. You can't stun, immobilise, push or pull them and all skills will do 1 damage per hit. To make matters worse, they have the ability to stun you with their Blunderbuss, giving them a few seconds to try and outrun you.

Should you lose site of the Treasure Bandit for very long it will have time to summon a portal to escape into, along with it's treasure.
