Hello , Can someone help me? i got an error "Downloaded file [resources.dat] is different inthe patch list" I tried every basic thing to fix that and none of them work

I tried Uninstall the game, Redownload the installer, deleting and downloading the resources.dat file, restarting my computer, and still stuck in this. My internet connection and antivirus is ok i think. Plz help me i cant play :(

The error "Downloaded file xxx is different in the patch list" means the file that was downloaded differs in size to the original file the patch server sent your computer.

This can happen if you have a bad internet connection to our server and the file gets corrupted during download, or if you have an antivirus/security software that decided the file has a virus or is suspicious. All files are virus checked before being sent to the patch server so it would mean your security software is probably out of date and is incorrectly assuming a virus (update the virus definitions for it - check the software for some kind of update, or as a last resort, set your security software to ignore the Iris Online folder).

I have checked the current patch multiple times to see if there is some problem with resource.dat but it works perfectly for me every time, so it's most definitely an issue on your side.

I have attached the resource.dat file to this message. You can download it and copy it into the Iris Online script folder, overwriting the old one. You can then run the launcher and it should not need to update that file anymore.
