There are boundless things to do and see across Arcana! When creating a character you can choose between six difference classes, Fighter, Mage, Ranger, Shaman, Warrior and Rogue and each of these have multiple roles.
For example, the Mage has two roles, Damage or Healing, and as you level your character you gain skill points that can be used to purchase skills in either of these roles. You may decide to specialise completely in Damage or you might decide to spend points in both.
Upon reaching level 30 you can progress your character into it's 2nd class. These 2nd classes specialise in one of the roles. For a Mage, the 2nd classes are the Magician that specialises in damage or the Priest that specialises in healing. The 3rd and final class is available upon reaching level 75.

They might seem cute but the critters of Arcana are a lethal mix of biters, scratchers and thumpers, none more so than those tainted by or even recruited by the Sahar.
However, these monsters are not just cannon fodder for merciless adventurers, they have other uses! Nearly every monster in Arcana has in it's possession a transformation card. When found and used, these cards transform you into the monster allowing you to use it's unique skills and buffs for a set period of time.
As well as dropping Transformation Cards, the monsters of Arcana can also become your very own pets. Find enough monster DNA and you can splice it together to make a pet!
Pets can fight by your side and you can level them up, teach them skills and equip them with armor and accessories to make them stronger.
Battlefields run throughout the day and night in Arcana. Deathmatch is all-out slaughter the other side, whilst Flagmatch and Capture the Flag require you to fight over flags and return them to your base, and finally Battle of Atlantis where you must destroy the enemy turret.

Several zones in Arcana are classified as Open PvP where you can fight with other players and guilds over monsters and other resources. Killing another player gives Chaos Points and adds you to the Chaos Points ranking system.
