nsDB - Item, Monster, NPC and Recipe Database Update

nsDB has been completely rewritten with new features and content. You can now find information on monsters and NPCs as well as items and recipes.

Items

The new item search now shows the items quality, it's level requirement and categories. All of these can be filtered to narrow down your search.

When you click on an item it will show you a tooltip with all of the item's information, including if it's part of a set and the set bonuses.

Below the tooltip, several tabs are displayed telling you which monsters drop the item and it's drop chance and also which NPCs sell it and for how much.

If the item is a recipe, it will show you what the recipe makes.

Monsters

The monster search will show you it's stats including defenses, hit, crit, attack, HP/MP and what the monster drops as well as how much gold it has.

You can filter the search by Name, Level and Location and can order by the most Exp/Sxp or Gold dropped.

NPCs

The NPC search will show you which map the NPC is on as well as it's coordinates.

It also lists anything the NPC sells. Later on you will also be able to see a list of quests available from the NPC.

Recipes

The recipe search will show you what the recipe makes, the skill level required to learn it, the max possible skillup obtained from it and also the ingredients required. You can also click on the name of the recipe to find out where it comes from, if it's a drop or is sold by a vendor.

Getting Started

To get started, visit the nsDB page and choose what you want to find.

You can also use the global site search to find your item or monster. Just click on the magnifying glass at the top of the website and enter the name of the item or monster.

Commenting and Screenshots

The items and monsters pages also have a tab for comments and screenshots so please add your screenshots whilst your browsing and help us get it populated.

You should consider nsDB to be in a beta phase at the moment so please report any odd behaviour on the forum so I can get it fixed. Whilst in beta, nsDB will be website only and the ingame nsDB will still use the old one for now.
