It took me a few months to realize it after returning from a four month break from iris.

Wizard used to be decent class for PvP But it is no longer the case.
Apparently the class got nerfed Somewhere and I'm still not exactly sure where to point my finger.
Stuns (the only thing wizards had going for It in pvp) are no longer effective.
Advanced ice age hardly ever activates doesn't last long enough and is buggy to the point of that during normal play bf dungeons etc. It is useless to even waste sp on a simple misclick or placing aoe area in wrong spot and adv ice age is gone before you can recover to place it again.

I would like to hear other wizards opinions or advice.

I'm debating switching to sorc for pvp.
On sorcs seems casting is much less tedious and Smooth flowing not to mention extra instant skills and push (which still seems to work in pvp and it may be my imagination but even when a push skill doesnt push it seems to temp stun for like a sec anyway disrupting gcast). And they have sleep. Which lasts long time.
Seems my stuns no longer work on wizard and or don't last long enough to even be useful anymore.
Idk I can't quite put my finger on any of it lol.
All I know is I came back and wizards are rare in bf and I die so easy with great gear.
You have to run like crazy and be a gcast pro to stay alive.
And that's another topic gcasting is insane now.
With mount runes and gcasting with mount it makes it crazy for wizards the stuns are useless.

also i suppose everyone is feeling the effect of loss of absorb on their chars.
maybe some more than others.
i noticed templars are so crazy weak now in pvp.

this makes me think this is another reason wizards are weaker now.
no absorb for dmg and ineffective stuns. (basically a saint with no heal and actually alot of wizards are now spending alot of sp on healing skills for this which takes away from class skills)


They are still great for pve though.

I'm not trying to start flame war just want to hear your thoughts. Before I decide to switch to sorc.
I've always played as wizard (main) and sorc occasionally.

What are some pros and cons to switching other than the obvious less crowd control.
