Boss Event
Starting 3pm Server Time (Time is top left of forums) 29/09/2013

I wanted to let people know in advanced that I would be doing a Boss event. It's one of the most requested events I've had so far but I was never sure on how to do them since I've only ever joined Sunrise's Boss Event and that was during the 75 Level cap. So back then the boss event was challenging but now there is 3rd jobs and 85 is the level cap. I don't know how hard to make it.
All bosses will be spawned throughout the map randomly.
All CQ Dungeon Bosses will be spawned 4 times over the map.
2 mini bosses will be spawned. (75 CQ Mini Bosses only, example Boss Shadow Pupa-Pupa)
2 CQ World Bosses will be spawned.
1 Nereus, 1 Enraged Sakun, 1 Enraged Tundro, 1 level 85 Livid, 1 level 85 Ulric will be spawned around the map.
2 level 75 Ulric and Livid will be spawned.
This will be done in 1 map. No Pirate Bob's will be summoned.
So If you all could give me some input. I'm sure most of you have more experience with Boss events than I do =P So help me, help you~

The GM will pick a location where it will not effect low leveling players.
@GM, I think that the more wanted bosses such as Nereus, Livid and Ulric should be placed in PVP since they will most likely be an aggro war trying to kill. But I guess it depends on how many of each are going to be spawned. Oh and just a thought, maybe make it a bit harder to get to the bosses. I know Darcel did an awesome event with this with different types of mobs and such.

Doing a boss event shows just how ungrateful a large number of players are. I had to remove Nereus coz certain guilds were fighting over him.
I put time into spawning the bosses & Mobs (Yes I spawned too many, I'm still learning).
I give you 2 options on how to deal with Nereus. 1 - I remove him or 2 - I do a hide and seek event and who ever finds me gets a boss spawn of their choice. As a replacement of Nereus being removed. But I had people QQing at me coz they wanted me to put him to a PK Map for a PK War. I said no, then I had people QQing at me saying that's all what Pandora wants and not the rest.
I have no ties to Pandora and I have no ties to any other guild. I do not favor anyone and I treat everyone the same.
My reasons for removing Nereus were my own. I no longer wanted to deal with the drama that comes along with him.
Because of this if I ever do a boss event again. I will not be spawning Nereus because you most of you cannot be civil or grateful. -

So I guess these people were saying that the lower level/other noobie guilds wanted a pk war? hahahah, i've only seen two guilds kill Nereus, Pandora and Remi. People saying it was all Pandora fault is just bullshit, and they were trying to make you feel bad. You shouldn't have to spawn a boss for guilds who get the boss everyday anyways, in my opinion
I, for one, love you as a GM, I think you do a great job, and show everyone with respect.

Oh, I wasn't on for this so I don't know what happened specifically. Don't feel bad though, Kyle; people ALWAYS QQ during spawn events. They QQ any other time, so why not during events when they have a GM there to actually QQ to and beg for things?
Just keep doing what you do; you're active and helpful (plus willing to accept advice) so don't be discouraged just yet.

This wasn't a natural spawning of bosses, which if it was it would be fine to settle it on a PK map.
however, it was Kyleakin's event, she can do what she wants with the bosses.
ITS AN EVENT PEOPLE, FREE BOSS SPAWN, AND YOU'RE QQING?

Guys, I watched half of the event myself, everything was fine.
Kyle, thank you for doing this event. It was great, and if it needed a few less mobs or something changed here and there, as you said you are learning. I'll also brief you about this Nereus griefing business, and explain what Sedy did the other day so you know as well.
The rest of you guys, be grateful. The event and time spent is for you. If you discourage the person doing them, you will not get another any time soon. You are getting entertainment, adrenaline and free stuff, by somebody dedicating time to you. So don't be greedy.
