i have a friend i wanted him to join me and he couldn't because of his computer reasons, he can only play on xbox remote sadly, i hardly get him play any other games as well but i'm hoping he can play this game with me the most

The game requires a keyboard and mouse. You could map the movement keys and some others to a gamepad but you would still require a keyboard and mouse to play it fully.
