No it doesn't have any high damage skills - it was probably the elite, it has the same name but is level 85 and bigger in size.

Do the boss ones die as easily as the normal ones? Because I was able to get the 1st one down to half health with two hits before it had the chance to hit me (which is when I died) and I killed the 2nd one, again with a few hits, after i died from it once already, besides I made sure to check the lvl that time and it was 24, there was no boss encounter prompt for either of them also.

I should have asked before, but what level is your character? These Shushu do hit a lot harder than normal mobs of the same level - they can hit for upto 3k damage in some cases if you are around the same level.

I will reduce their damage since they are now a level 20 quest requirement. I will put in a fix tonight at server restart.

I thought about mentioning it but I'm lvl72, I relogged after it happened and i have a feeling that might have fixed whatever went wrong, but I can't confirm since I've been using the cognitive shield skill when encountering them just to be safe.

* Update: This doesn't seem to be exclusive to the Christmas Shushu. I tried running Paniye Circus Troupe Hard Mode with a lv78 champion, the dolls insta killed him 2 times, then he relogged and we were able to kill off a few before it happened again. We've done hard mode at least once before and had no problem with it. The 1st time he died he had around 6 of them on him, they were slowly draining his HP and then he was suddenly dead, 2nd and 3rd time he had only 2 of them on him and again suddenly found himself dead.
* The same thing is now happening with the non-aiming cannons to the both of us.
* Everything in this dungeon is killing us by dealing dmg above 600k
