Introducing the couple system, suited for couples or friends that would like to use a couples system for benefits.

This system gives bonus stats which can help u in game. There are two types of stats you may get and these are PVE and PVP. To represent that your in a relationship, you should wear the ring.

(can be in the costume area, or i guess an actual ring) The couple effect /stats will only be available if your wearing the ring :3 Also, this system lvls up, so the higher the lvl the system is the better.

but if you want to get "divorced" which i think people would like

you can get divorced by buying the divorce "pot" hahaha, which cost twice less.

But basically, i'm just trying to say can we have a couple system?

Like who doesnt want one, right? ^-^

Well, this is probably in the top 10 requests for Iris since it's beta. Don't know how complicated a couple system would be to implement, but dunno about boosting stats. Now, I wouldn't mind such a system giving non-stat buffs, like effects, +drop rate, +gold/exp/bf points, etc. Could even have the highest couple bonus in a party be what is used. But i'm not really going to get into that, I came to post something else:

There actually is a Ring of Love. GM's in retail gave out to an actual couple or two that got married that met on iris I believe. There was even an event that rewarded them (I believe in NS, not retail). Anyways, link here: Ring of Love

This is actually one of the things on my todo/wishlist. There would be an actual marriage map that is like a chapel. I think I posted it somewhere on my profile or in here somewhere. Couples would gain a couple of benefits such as buffs when they are together in a party and they would be able to call eachother (teleport to eachother) etc.

It's not exactly easy to do but it should be possible for me to implement at some point but it's not at the top of the list - that would be pet system

this would be really good to in-game couple, getting married to a place where we met will be really awesome. we were even talking about incorporating the game to our future wedding

but would u allow a same sex marriage in game? he really doesn't like the male elf look lol, i suggested to be the male elf if it really needs to be a male and female, 2 female toons wearing same gown will look weird lol

i hope this couple thing will happen

I like the sound of this.

I think though (and Sedy has mentioned) that it's not a top priority.
But I'd like to see this happen one day.

I use to marry people in game and give them the ring of love as proof of their marriage

This is one of the oldest vids on the server and the very first wedding I ever did XD
Sedy and Gala were present and GM Atoli crashed the wedding! lmao *sniffles from the memories*

Come to find out it was our first marriage and the first gay marriage. Guy playing a female character. lol
