In an attempt to reduce prices and sort out our economy I will be making amendments to gold drop rates and other methods of gold accrual.

At the moment, players have so much gold that prices have spiralled out of control, causing problems when trying to sell high-value items due to limits set in the game when it comes to setting prices on the Sales Agent and elsewhere. It is also a real turnoff for new players just starting out here as you can well imagine.

I won't go into why this happened because I think it's fairly obvious and I don't feel like writing walls of text because most of you don't bother reading it properly before giving your opinions anyway.



So, in the next update I will introduce the first round of gold rate and amount cuts:

Gold drops from monsters will be reduced to around x8 of original retail rates. Since our gold is currently set at x15, this will be roughly a 50% reduction.

Custom monsters (those added by me) will be reduced more since they were set much higher.

Gold drop rates will also be reduced slightly on higher level field monsters. Most were set around 40% and they will be reduced to 20-30%. Low level monster drop rate will not be reduced allowing new players to gain enough gold to buy their items as they level and be competitive with established players.

Level 1-9 field monsters: 55% (no change)
Level 10-19 field monsters: 50% (no change)
Level 20-30 field monsters: 40% (no change)
Level 31+ field monsters: 20-30% (
