Help with Daily Quest

I tried asking in game but got no luck, so here goes. Where does one find the missing old box for the daily quests?

    Pretty sure that's a christmas quest... the npc isn't there anymore so just drop the quest and do something else

    Aha! Thank you. I was wondering why I couldn't find it. I hopped around town on my horse for 20 minutes looking in every nook and cranny and just didn't see anything.
