The game currently might be low in activity due to the season. i mean it is school time though. It's still active, we are still working on updates. I"m online personally at least 3 or 4 times a week playing with players and doing events however small they are. We are still very much active and hope to be that way for months ^^

As far as I know it's still active, at least I still play. I haven't seen anyone in Terminus though. I usually see crap loads of guy there, but it IS the school season so yeah. We should set up a time and play together. (I'm not that high of a level though...lol)

Hey I'm glad your experience getting the game running in Linux was painless. I worked quite hard to make sure it worked for Linux and Mac under Wine with minimal fuss.

It's usually quiet around this time of the year as the guys say above, because start of school etc., also people go off and try out new games for a while but usually come back to play here after a while. That being said, the beginner areas are always fairly empty because the game has never really had a large population - the game really starts when you reach the max level and it's very quick to levelup too so people aren't really hanging around beginner areas for very long.

The game is still being developed. I have been working on some big content updates for the past 4-5 months that will be released later in the year, probably November, and there will also be an update tonight to introduce some new systems and items, and the usual bugfixes.

I guess it all depends on your timezone really - I always see a lot of people in Terminus during my daytime which is afternoon/evening in Asia where most of our players are, but in the evening it's kind of dead, even more so if you are in the USA - we need more Americans!

Ouch 4 hours to patch? I hope you are joking lol. The patch tonight will be semi-large though tbh, preps for the big update coming in November, but nowhere near 4 hours omg lol.

Playing using wine in mac, im always experiance the floor map become black. mostly is new map, like AS, PI and PC, if terminus and low map i never experiance it yet, i dont tested whole map yet anyway just few map. Hope u can fix it Sedy

@Cie wie, try increasing the video ram setting in the Wine settings. Not exactly sure of it's exact name right now, I'll check it later

GM sedy sell your Noscrub iris to other company.. this game was really the best i played.. long time ago im glad this game still active thou. its been 2yrs since i quit. i played this game for 2yrs. the pvp /world boss hunt was epic. the 2hrs dragging it all over the map. guild vs guild .. i miss those stuff i hope this game can make a fresh start in other country. im sure alot will play this game. since not much ppol know about Iris online. even the new MMORPG i played ppol i talk with dont even know Iris online,haha... GM sedy sell your update and stuff of this game to big company

and yeah it works great in linux , its not laggy/choppy , i can get the resolution i want , and im using an opensource video driver which ironically works better than the propietary haha

you guys did a great job on the website design and wiki too , this is a full mmo with like over 15k items , and u can even play as a mob i found out . thanks for saving this game and making it into what it is today , i never even got a chance to play it when gpotato had it. At the end of the day im grateful i get to play it and that it works in linux.

Haha on days where my internet is particularly bad, four hours is to be expected. I'm and American so at least you have one American player! ^^
