Depends on what you want to do on game. Here's a list
TL;DR?: Tanker -> Gunners -> Melee -> Healers -> Magic
Personally out of all classes I find that:
1)
Tankers (Champ or Templar) are the cheapest to build in terms of carding, accessories, armor (If end game you will go chain quest 85 which is provided). They can do good even without moolah wing titles but will perform the best with them. Basically just need to invest in wings and theyre pretty much good to go. Ofcourse to be better in comparison, its still cheaper than most classes especially for pvp too due to their high def and good skill repertoire. You wont be able to kill fast enough tho xD PvE wise... youre most wanted in everything ~>~""
2) Followed roughly by a
Gunner (Sniper or SharpShooter). Card wise these are also very cheap to build, their pro-est weapons might be harder to get but its worth while. In pvp I totally have fun with this class due to their skills and they can hold their ground very well even i nthe cheapest armors. Though i wouldnt go against someone who can shoot a bunch of damage on you on a second XD
3) Melee classes (2Hand, Dual users or Dagger users). These classes need a bit of work,especially in PvP since they need a solid HP and Def. Theyre required to have very good armors since its close ranged (CQ 85 again) and would be hit much mroe than your average damager. Also status quo---in parties its hard to bring melee cause it would be mandatory to have a healer -- unless you are very skilled xD. Gear/Drop wise its easy cause most are magic users.
4) Healers (Saint, Prophet), in the spectrum theres quite a few healers around which lessens your chanvce of getting random drops. Cards are easier though, healers have the best heals even without much carding. And if your party members are good; healers wont get hit at all so not much survivability. Pvp on the other hand you might need to invest a bit on HP/Def and so on. These are one of the classes that can go without wing titles and still be good and reliable xD I rank this lower cause as a healer you NEED a
party or someone to go with. (unless this is an alt)
5) Magic DPS (Wizard, Sorcerer), these classes are good to build in the long run but they are a bit expensive to maintain. You can go off with a normal rdps with basic gear even without wings and still be good. Plus farming ability is nice you can solo most lowlevel dungeons and farm for gear--but this class is very time consuming for other gears you only get with a raid. A butt load of users are Magic DPS so rolls are a pain, getting gears you want are a pain, and you hate this pain. XD But I'm a sorc so---idk its a nice thing
Good thing about this class is that you usually get to be invited to parties more than a melee counterpart. Buuuuuuut depends on the bosses/dungeon, so i wouldnt count on that much
