I just got to level 85 and was happy with it.
but I'm not sure on equipment. Like most epic gear is drop by powerful mobs and I don't have a good way to deal with it. I could try to get trophies or bfp armor. But I would have to grind :c anyone can suggest how to go about this

    Congrats on 85 :)

Have you considered buying the TOAI armor from other players? It's a pretty good set. You don't often see it in auction house because it needs seals so people usually sell it via megaphone, so you need to be online to either read megaphone or mega that you wtb it.

The other thing is, at 85, a lot of the PVE content with the harder bosses and so on needs a party or raid, it's not really soloable. You need to make some friends~~ I'd suggest joining a guild that has 85 players.

Finally, not sure if you're already aware of this, but there is a quest for epic armor. People usually call it CQ 85. More info: http://noscrubs.net/discussions/guide-to-chain-quest-l85

Hmm, if you want to rely entirely on your group of newer players, it's definitely going to be tough. Try joining those more random parties that are megaing that they are looking for members for dungeons? Depending on the size of your group, you can always get the whole group to join a guild haha. Well I guess that depends whether you guys definitely want a guild of your own.

Alternatively, make friends, get a union with another guild and get to know their players and go with them.

Not sure what class you are, but if youre a gunner/sniper, i'd recomend Von Steins set, it offers you alot of damage comparing to the other sets.

I personally went von stein set + TOAI Top armor.

@ monmo Actually I'm a Templar so that might not be the best for my class (I think)
For now I'll try to make a temporary set until I could get something good

For templars, strongly recommend you look at getting a couple of the bfp accessories + either CQ or TOAI set. (CQ is preferred)
As for temporary set.. I think it would depend on how easily you can get your permanent set. I know some people skip temporary set because they are being carried by their friends lol. But if you don't have that luxury, and if you can afford it, TOAI set would be the most worthwhile I think?
