Good day everyone
what do you think about the magic class in PvP? bf match and molten
Don't you think that they have been fixed too much
Now in the game there are strong armors class(vanq, sb, myrm, crus) with high def and attack, and sniper sin, with high explosive damage and survivability due to evasion.
And what do mage have? shields that are removed in a second by a pet, the damage has become small, and there is almost no penetrating damage and bonus on skills, as well as sorc class
Previously mage were not so weak, and it's not about things or playing skills, I'm talking about the balance of the game, something clearly happened to it because the damage has become significantly lower than it was before
Even take the legendary necklace, why does it have magical abs? And there is no physical one, this already makes mages weaker in PvP, against those who have it
@Sedy please change wiz\sorc skills, they need to be upgraded
Also, dear players, I want to know your opinion about mag class

    I have abandoned pvp sorcerer because of useless pvp skills and low pvp damage, we should have more instant stun skills and high damage skills, also at least one immunity skill

    Considering that all classes have about 200k hp, and the plate class is even bigger, it's strange that the mage damag is so much smaller. All class have +10% mage abs from lq neckl. It's a shame that full dps build mail or plate glass can hit 20-40k hp, and mages 10-20k (considering that everyone has buffs and food). It just so happens that the physical damage is almost 2 times stronger. The Wizard has only 6 shields once per minute, which can quickly destroy the pet. Sorc has abs, he can accelerate it up to 80%, but even so, he lacks debuffs and damage, other classes simply kill him by damagging his abs. Mage class clearly needs to strengthen damage and refine defensive skills

    I play wiz and I think this class lacks survival, the shield on this class seems to be absent, and it's hard to fight against the plate class, since everyone has immunity by turning it on, they can just easily interrupt you, because the difference in damage is significant, wiz do not have such an opportunity

    I would like to see more skill bonus dmg in wiz sorc, compared to other classes, they have the least such skills, and imunitet can be added because the classes are too vulnerable.

    I'm not a mage user, but i feel their frustrations. Killing mages with full LQ in battlefields is as easy as killing a veteran monster

    Hey guys,

    The melee damage classes were buffed considerably in past updates to bring them to the top when it comes to damage output, which is exactly where I feel they should be as close range classes. They risk taking damage getting and being up close in return for high damage output. They had severely fallen behind previously and everyone was playing magic/ranged classes. I feel the updates were fairly successful in broadening playable classes, but I do agree that magic class damage and survivability (at least in PvP) has now fallen behind too much.

    Changes to both Wizard and Sorcerer are due with updates to some of their damage skills but I would appreciate ideas for improving their survivability without overpowering them.

    Ideas welcome!

    As cheap part (not whole probably) of survivability solution on wizard side:
    - Remove global cd triggers (both from other skills and these) for both blinks, ice prison, ice shield, renewed activation, ice crystallization
    - Ice prison eff+, no purging for that :D
    - Resilience passive from 5% phys. def into 5% phys. abs
    - At least one stun removable only by real support class
    - Modify pets AI so that they ignore player target under ice shield entirely

    More damage still required, but that's little more tricky (and lazy).

    And, not quite sure that melee actually risk anything in close range. They got enough defense to be damaging tanks. Well, except daggers, but that's life, their destiny is to be melee-supports haha, being dead same second they lost evasion rng.

    -"Deceitful Terrain" change -> Immune skill cd 1m
    -"Wind Fusion" -> active buff for 10 sec magic defense penetration cd 1m
    Socr
    "Tempest barrage 2" -> add bonus dmg 30-35%
    "Cyclon" -> change targer to your assist
    "Windwalk" -> duration 3 sec change 5 sec
    "Combustion 3" -> add bonus dmg 20-30%
    "Blazing Anger 2" -> add bonus dmg 20-35%
    "Tempest spear 3" -> change cd 4 sec to 10sec and add silence 1.5 sec
    "Typhoon 2" -> change cd 7 sec to 10sec and add immobilize 1.5-2 sec
    "Chonovoid" -> change cd 1m to 40 sec
    "Armageddon" -> change cd 1m to 40 sec
    This is my suggestion for Sorc, I hope some of this will be added

    I would like to see wiz
    buff shield can change like effect Trinity for 10sec cd 40-1m
    and more bonus dmg for skill
    and can magician skill change Spellflinger for immune 10s like plate immune

    I think we should start with the legendary necklace. There's only magic absorption, but the physical damage is 2 times stronger. Why not give a general takeover? Let's say 8% of the total absorption, nothing much will change for the plate classes, but it will already give survival to some classes. Also, if you look at the skills of all classes, you can see that almost everyone has a bonus damag in the skills of 3 professions. I think it won't hurt the magicians. It would be nice to strengthen the passive skills a little in terms of physical defense or abs. It would also be nice to remove or replace the useless Mana regeneration skill (1st prof 10 lvl) with some kind of immunity to immobilization for 10 seconds with cd 60. For a wizard, I would agree with the idea from the comment above - a shield like trinity for 10 seconds with cd 40. In this case, you will not have to change the mechanics of pets and you will increase the survival rate of the wizard. As a result, the mages will have + abs from the necklace, skills with bonus damage, and the wizard will have a decent shield. Currently, the full stat +36 wizard cannot deal damage above 15k, although any other class can deal this damage or even higher without stat.

    Of funny options - cap all pvp absorb at 40%, ban all potions (hp/mp/giant/protect whatever) (and add all bg debuff for all mp regen equals 0), all rare quality food and see what happens.
