Do you mean you can't see people talking in chat or its just nobody talks? Most of the players I know just keep to themselves chatting in group or legion. Even I rarely use the .ely except if im tryin to help someone.

There are people here but did you tried to write anything in the faction-chat (.ely and .asmo)?
That mostly help and i think you surely will get an answer.

I mean nobody talks - and when you throw out a question or whatever... you get ignored..

Well there are several factors can cause that,

1. Language barrier
2. Being a noob - asking stuff like mentor me pl0x, or can someone give me this or that.
3. Too busy doing their stuff or being afk
4. Dont give a s--t

If you dont get answers from players in-game, Try looking for it on the forums...

Welcome to Noscrubs. The game can be fairly quiet at times. When I come online, I try to talk or get someone to talk. Unfortunately, like I'm busy with school and work. So i can't be on too much. But if you see Adelleynne on, whisper me and I'll always answer. If I'm afk, I always try to answer everyone that needs help.

Check your chat settings. For some it's set wrongly and you can't see any text until you change the color.
