Hey guys~ Mythos here again. What do i got for you guys this time? Well as you all know the Danceoff Video contest is STILL on going but in the mean time... why not have some fun?
Take out some pent up anger. Or maybe some fustration to get ya mind off the painful video editing process.
So let's have ourself a little PVP tourny shall we?
The way this works:
I don't want to do 1 v 1s. It's to much time for not enough effort and besides 1 v 1s are boring you see them day in and day out.
So instead i want enough players to do 2 v 2 (and if i get a lot i'll even go up to 3 v 3)
All you gotta do is post your IGN and Class down below to sign up.
When: May 14th
Map: Molten Arena
Rules: Anything goes (Pots Food. whatever you want)
Teams will be chosen in brackets to fight each other. Others may come in and spectate but stay away from the fight itself. If you interfer by attacking or in anyway influcing the outcome of the map you will be disqualified and asked to leave. Your team will be out of the fight. If it was TRUELY an accident i will warn you and restart the match a new. But only 1 warning.
Now the juicy part. Prizes you say?
Winners. the winning team will get the following.
1 PVP Quartz VI Wearing card
1 Honorable Gladiator weapon of choice (If you are a tanker Guadian or Templar you will get sword and shield)
1 Honorable Gladiator Title (Stats are: All Stats 50 Move speed 65 HP 1000) This title is NOT available to be gotten any other way
A special Crown buff. The crown will be silver in color with a tool tip of Bragging rights: Winner of the PVP tournament. The duration you keep the crown is up to sedy. it could be weeks months are perm his call.
2nd place. Yupper Runners up get a prize.
1 PVP Quartz Wearing card V.
1 Brave Warrior Title (Stats: All stats 50. Move speed 65 HP 500) This title is not available to gotten any other way.
For just joining you'll receive 200 tears or day of the tourney.
So full recap? You join. I'll pair you up as i see fit to insurance fairness. You'll fight bracket style. Till last team wins~ Simple right?
If i don't get enough to do... say 8 teams i probably won't hold this to be honest. 6 teams is the least i can do. But i want more.

I will pick the teams myself. YOu will be paired up based on the people that joined that i pick. Why? Because it's the easiest way to make sure everything is fair.
I don't want teams of OPs vs Teams of friends not OP. I will comb through everyone that signs up to be able to say "Team A can hold their own against Team B just fine"
When the teams are picked and announced if you have an issue with them i will GLADLY hear you out and if a comprise can't be reached with your team mate i pick. i will change it.
When teams are set i will do a bracket of teams vs team
Say i get 8 six teams like i want
Team A v Team B
Team C V Team D
Team E V Team F
Team G V Team H
Then next round will be winners against winners.
the winners move on the loosers don't. i REALLY want 8 or more teams to make this truely even and easy to do. But we'll see what i get
ALso the team mate i pick for you when start will be your team mate for the entire tourny it will not change.
And i should also add that once your character is on the roster no changing. Mid way through the tourny you can't say be playing on your Assassin and suddenly switch to want to complete it on your templar or something. So make sure the character you want to be is signed up -

The title is a normal title. it's just for looks. it can be used with Marriage title but not with donator as it takes the place of an actual title. It's just something to say "I have something that no one else will get" Just like the honorable gladiator weapons or the crown -

Since the title can't be used simultaneously with donator title, can the status be anything, and the crown, instead, gives similar status as the intended status of gladiator title rather than having no effect at all?. For example: Gladiator title: increase MS/IncreaseHP/ etc, Crown effect: All Stats 50 Move speed 65 HP 1000. Basically, the crown works like weekly crowns that we get from honor or fame. That way not only we can show off, but also we benefit from effect that is intended for title? -

The crown will NOT have any stat boost the title is staying as it is. If you have a donator title good just don't use the one you get from this. The crown is not designed to have stats it merely states you were the best PVPer of the tourny and that's that. I will not be budging on this. -

Fine... you guys want to push okay then... I honestly considered closing this. but i now see i can't... people want this but they want to pick their own teams... I
A change to this... I'll let you guys choose. Either i ban team combos
Templar/champ and Saint/Prophet teams can't be used...
Or i ban Temp/champ and Saint and Prophet classes all together.
Pick one or the other. -

Actually it won't be a title guys, it will just be a temporary buff similar to the Fame/Honor crown. -

I feel that... the only fair way i can do this is to disallow Saints/Prophets Unless i get 12 players or more (Enough for 3 v 3).. i don't want to this but it was what was chosen by most the server when i asked... templars and champs are fine. If you wish to contest this...speak to me personally... As for teams right now I have Halfbuster and BoyBawang.
