Support classes have a huge difficulty in the UP due to the build focused on support, and even merging with the damage build we still have difficulties due to the low damage of the 1st class skills.
Healer has only 7 attack skills and 3 of them have cast, so that would be my suggestion, removing the casting of these skills to help this class a little more in leveling / solo content

I did consider making the healer damage skills instant when I removed the cast time of Sorcerer and Wizard skills, but decided against it in the end because I didn't want to make healers stronger in PvP. While the majority of max level healers have enough of the +Casting Time stat to make all of their skills instant anyway - they can at least be slowed down with -Casting Time debuffs. This wouldn't be the case for these damage skills if they were made instant.

I am open to this suggestion but would like to see how other players feel about it first.

Do you think if healers had their 3 damage skills with a casting time turned into instant damage skills, it would make much difference in PvP?

I understand your position but I partially disagree for a few reasons:

1st - Healer solo has a great difficulty in making any PVE content of the game due to lack of offensive skills. In total there are only 3 AOE Skills, only one of which is Priest-specific and has a cast. Therefore, contents where they have a large number of monsters make solo activity difficult (since the server has a small number of players).

2nd - To counterbalance the question of the cast of skills in the healer tree, focus on 1st Class skills, however, these skills have low damage, since they do not have any damage increase due to not existing in the skills tree of the 2nd Class.

3 - In relation to PVP, Healers already have cast in their cures in large part, making it almost impossible to keep healing to the point of withstanding the DPS of any other class. In other words, until the cure was effective, the opponent easily used 3~4 skills, making it impossible for the Healer to protect himself and also to act offensively. Easily becomes a target during team fights and hardly comes out alive as it cannot maintain healing on itself / protect allies.

The fact is that, as the other classes no longer have skill casts, the healer has become an easy target, making counterattack difficult. Not to mention the great difficulty in being able to do quests/events or evolve in the game solo.

I understand your position regarding PVP, in fact it may become stronger, but taking into account that there are 8 Skills, of which only 3 have low CD, I think it would not make that much difference in PVP.

I do not agree with that view. :o
Do you know what the consequences will be in the case of fixing those skills to 0cast?
They will reduce a small amount of points on the Healer branch or reduce some points on passive skills and improve their own combat skills. Have you tried entering the Colosseum to experience it? With 2 equal players to win Job Healer is already very difficult, unfortunately you meet a player who specializes in healer the result will be Draw or worse they will win.
I also know the game is quite difficult to level up for a solo healer so when I see someone playing solo with job healer, I recommend them to dual with a DPS, and the problem is not with the skills of the classes.
Just experience the game for a while and you will understand.

Not much difference but probably would make it better tbh, cause, as you know, healers attacking skills trigger the global CD
Removing the cast time on them would remove that global CD as well which is good.
Healers are kinda ok now in PvP, Idk what that other guy is talking about, facing a healer in Colosseum and etc. but my guess is that he is referring to lower levels Colosseums as it is literally impossible for any healer to kill a well-geared level 100 player in Colosseum.

Haven’t played for a little while but I don’t think it makes that huge of a difference.

Most max level healers have instant cast like you mentioned, and cast time debuffs in pvp will still take effect on their healing skills which is probably where it’s more impactful anyways, and even so, such debuffs can be quickly dispelled.

It’s not like it’s impossible to kill a healer in a 1v1, and if it ends in a draw I consider it a win for the healer really. As mentioned, a healer shouldn’t be able to kill any well-geared level 100 player; and if they did it would be a matter of how they played and not the class itself.

After further consideration and taking into account the comments here, this suggestion has been accepted.

The following healer class damage skills will be changed to instant cast and will no longer trigger the global cooldown on other skills:

    Mage/Shaman
    Divine Arrow 1
    Destructive Incantation 1

    Priest/Sage
    Divine Arrow 2
    Destructive Incantation 2

    Saint
    Divine Arrow 3
    Smite
    Mana Void

    Prophet
    Nature's Wrath
    Destructive Incantation 3
    Life Tap

These changes will be applied during the next update which should be early February.
