Yes existing level 75 battlefield mounts have been updated to have 0-sec cast time just like the moolah mounts. It's the same mounts that are on the vendor now, so if you have one, it will be updated.
I would love it if you could fight whilst mounted but it's actually not possible with Iris because of the restricted character animations. There are none whilst in the sitting/mounted position - no arm movements or anything so it would be kinda weird to attack with no movement from your character.
Stats were removed from the battlefield mounts. They used to have stuff like debuff immunity, damage absorb, physical immunity, magic immunity etc. but it was pretty ridiculous being able to just sit on your mount and be immune to something and people were abusing them left right and center in pve at bosses and stuff. Other than those kind of stats, I'm not really sure what stats would even be useful whilst mounted.

Why are you asking this here isntead of int he update thread? LOL Sedy has said the BF mounts will NEVER have damage abs and other special stats again already. as for the cast time. i don't see why the cast time of already owned mounts WOULDN"T change. I mean... it only makes sense. -

regardless if u own a mount that cost u 400k bf point in game wether it was 2 years ago or not ..that mount should have same stats as one in vendor if listed at same price.
so one of two things happens here
1 ... new mounts get new stats and everyone with old mounts get hosed
2... all mounts from bf get upgraded bought or sitting and eryone happy

maybe make extra slots for mount ...lol like a pet and can build its gear...i knw this already been done but just the idea of mounts giving buffs absorbing damage like calvalry units etc... makes sense maybe im an idiot and should shut up...

Look that would be great but Sedy has says it's not possible okay? That said a mount should be JUST that a MOUNT something ride on. Ontop of that how much sense would it make for some of the lesser known mounts. Pandan waggons. Vroom bikes hell even the BROOM to give stats other than move speed? My vote is sill NO. this is getting silly and stupid riduclous. -
