I'm a mage and I really don't know what to choose as my second skill. On the one hand, I like the concept of healing very much, especially in a group. on the other hand, I usually prefer to play solo, and I worry that a priest will have too little affect on monsters, especially on the tougher ones later on. Advice, please, anyone?

Also, what happens to my previous skills when I change?

Thanks in advance to any input

It's not 'easy" to level as a healer but it's not impossible either, once you get to level 60, just use a chipmunk card and basically use that's basic attack to kill stuff.

Once you job change as long as you're level 35 or below you can reset your skills with a potion the NPC will give you, if you're above 35 you wont be able to use the potion and will have to buy a Skill Reset potion with tears from May, if you want to reset skills that is.

    Thank you.
What happens to me old skils? Will I keep them? Will I still be able to increase them with exp points?
If I become a healer I'd still like to keep my old attack skills.

If you want to keep them then do not reset your skills.
& I'm unsure what you're meaning here "What happens to me old skils? Will I keep them? Will I still be able to increase them with exp points?"

Each class get's their Skill tree separately , so u will be able to keep leveling your Mage/Shaman skills even if u change to Warlock/Sage/Magician etc , and most of the classes get's their old skills improved in the next , for example , If u are a Mage and u maxed out Devine Arrow , u will get a Devine Arrow II and so on, when u change to Priest. I hope this will clear your question xD

I think he means that once he completes the job change will all the first tree skills for Shaman go away, and leave him with just 2nd Tree skills (or 2nd Job Skills), and if he is able to keep them, will he still be able to go back and change them and upgrade them with SP.

And to answer the question, yes you keep them, when you job change and complete the necessary quests, you get another tab in your skill window.

Without and Job Changes or Advancements you have two tabs.

    Shaman and Community.

When you go Priest/Magi or Prophet/Warlock or any class for that matter you get another "tab."

This Tab will be named after that class. i.e. if you went Priest you'd have the Priest tab.

To get back to your Shaman/Mage skills you just click that tabs name. i.e. to go from Shaman -> Priest you click Priest, vic versa.

The skill window will automatically load the most recent job you are. i.e. if you're a priest it'll load the priest tab.

Just click the tab you want to level things in and click the + button to level the skills.

Skill resets are either 5 or 15, I cant look because I'm at school x.x but they are pretty cheap. No more than 20 I think.

And you can reset skills as much as you like.

As for changing jobs to a different job i.e if you went priest but wanna go magi then you'll either have to make a new character or buy a job change from Sedy for 20 moolah.

    Hope that answered your questions c;
