Not had much luck with this so far. I spent a couple of days trying various options.
I tried replacing it with Awesomium which is basically Chrome embedded, but I read quite a few horror stories from people that play other games that use it and decided it wasn't worth it. Apparently it was causing all sorts of lag and crashes. Not saying it's a bad product, maybe the developers of those games just didn't put it in right, I dunno, but it was enough to put me right off.
Also tried something called CEF which again is Chrome embedded but I believe it would have the same issues since it's basically the same thing. The problem with CEF and Awesomium is that they stay active in the background and if you run Chrome and have checked your task manager you will see it has a shitload of processes open all the time for plugins and whatever else, taking up memory and slowing things down, especially for those with older computers with small ram etc. etc.
So I'm going to leave things as they are for now tbh. Windows XP users should have at least Internet Explorer 8 if they have updated to SP2 or SP3 which is basically good enough to show most of the pages (ranks, SlotZ, donate pages), maybe bar nsDB without errors popping up and if you need to use nsDB you can just come here to the website and use it with your default browser anyway.
