Hey guys, hope you like the revamped site. The social side of things got completely replaced/rewritten and should be a lot lighter than before, especially on mobile devices.
You will notice your avatar and name in the toolbar in the top right of the site. From there you can access your account settings, privacy settings, notification settings and jump to your profile, conversations, photos etc.
NEW ACCOUNTS
New accounts are now linked to the game, so when you create a new site account, you get a matching game account too. If you change your site password, the game password will also change. If you forget your username you can get a reminder sent to your email address and if you forget your password you can reset it via email. So make sure you always use a valid email address when creating a new account.
OLD ACCOUNTS
If you want to change a password for an old game account you can login to the site with your game account details and go to Account Settings and change it. When you login with a game account for the first time there will be a delay of up to 24 hours before you can change your password.
If your existing site account username is the same as your game account username you can just go to Account Settings and change the password and the game password will get updated too. However, for this to work, your site account email address must match your game account email address. If it's different, you can change your site account email address in Account Settings. If you used a fake email address when you made your game account and you want it updated, send me a message and I'll sort it out for you.
GAME SECURITY PIN
The game security pin is being phased out and will be removed from the game client in the next update which will be just after Halloween.
FRIENDS LISTS
Groups are gone but you can create as many friends lists as you like. When you create a friends list you will see a new filter in the sidebar that allows you to filter the dashboard stream to only show updates from those people in the selected friends list.
FOLLOW
You can now Follow people on the site. You can then filter the dashboard stream to only show updates from those that you follow.
CONVERSATIONS
Private Messages have been replaced with Conversations. You can add as many people as you like to a conversation and attach and share files.
The site is still a work in progress and updates and additions will come fairly regularly for a while.

Sorry, think I was not clear enough. I mean eg on your post here, it has a picture and 'Admin Galadriel' next to it. I meant if I click on that name, I get sent to your old profile (http://noscrubs.net/discussions/recent-discussions/profile/galadriel) rather than the new profile (that looks like facebook)(http://noscrubs.net/component/easysocial/profile/1884-galadriel). And in the old profile the PM button doesn't work. -

Theres a problem with forum names properly linking to the Updated Profiles pages that we're given. xD
More or less cause Sedy just totally made new profiles rather than editing existing ones, so old links arent following through hahaha xD -

Because you need to wait a while the first time you login with an old game account, for security reasons. You can check now and can probably change your password. -

The old control panel was ok but a lot of players got confused about having a web account and game account and then logging in to the site and then to the control panel, so I have always wanted to get them combined somehow. It was also very unsecure.
For new accounts the whole thing will be seamless and much better than before. It's just a bit confusing for people with old game accounts I guess, but once everybody logs into to website with their game account for the first time and it's activated, it will be all good

What do you mean Ray, you keep getting logged out? Remember me is just to save your account details in the login box, as with all websites that use Remember me. The actual session time is as it always was so as long as you don't log in from elsewhere, like a phone or another browser, you should stay logged in for quite some time. The only time I have to relogin is when I login to the same account on my phone.
There is actually a login in the toolbar, top right, in place of your name/avatar. Little lock icon. -

Weird, why do I keep on getting logged out. im not logged out from other sites >.> *checks cookies and cache* As far as I know ive only logged in to this computer.

Update: If I use the home page log in, its pretty much temporary.
Using the upper nav bar log in via the padlock icon, im remembered even if I leave the page =D -
