Mmmm same thing happened to me, but I had an account (Level 20 or something higher...don't remember xD). Well, apparently, if you downloaded from the gpotato site, it would crash because they closed the game a while ago. I only found out today, when i was going to download the client from gpotao again (since i thought my game got virus in it, but didn't), and then the game was gone from the site! Well, there are private running irisonline servers that aren't owned by gpotato (like noscrubs! What a relief!) If you make one here, you can just download the client and make a new account! Luckily, you haven't made one yet, so you don't need to grieve on losing items or a character! (I right now am....**sobs**...but, i hope you have a great time on irisonline (i did, and will again), and hopefully will surpass my now dead character's level (although I forgot what level...xD

The issue he has came from corrupted files. Torrent downloads are better for downloading our client. Its stable and no drops in the download like a direct download. Run your setup as an admin. And it will usually work well. And patching may take a bit but give it the time to download. It will run just fine after patching.

Yep momo what darcel says. If you cannot see your characters you must have a corrupted file. Delete your folder, re-install and make sure you are fully patched before you start the game and try to log in again.
