Because my interest has been piqued, I am curious where NS Iris players come from (how you arrived on NS Iris). If you played retail at all, please choose that item, as you probably would not be here if it were not for retail.
It's hard to differentiate between a friend who played iris long before you and a friend who joined the game with you so just combining into a single friend item.

I'd consider that being a retail player, but still brings up an interesting point. Added Youtube/social media to list.
It was not my intent, but this poll may be a good way to see where NS players who did not play Iris retail come from and maybe see how effective NS is being at advertising itself. -

I played retail through Closed Beta 1 and 2 and I played OBT until about January or so and quit because I was bored with the grind fest. I was checking those Private Server vote sites and I noticed Iris Online was on the category list. Chose Noscrubs and began playing here around the end of March early April time and here I am 3 yrs later. -

Looking at the poll, looks like:
Most players played retail.
Gaming list we vote on for tears does work a little, but overwhelmingly new Iris players come from word of mouth (players bringing their friends or friends finding out about NS Iris together and coming as a group).
Very small data set and not the clearest, but those are the conclusions I'd draw from this.
