Something with the source code being old or something and we don't have it in our source coding. We need a newer one. A con to that would people would be black listing GMs and that's not a good thing to do that to the staff.lol

But wont you be able to tell if you get blacklisted? I think it gives you a message saying the person is offline or something, so you'd be able to tell hmy:

Yeah. Before I started playing Aion, i spent a lot of time playing NS Iris and retail. And i did miss being able to blacklist people. As soon as people found out I was a girl. I got a ton of creepers messaging me. I used to just ignore it and they would eventually go away. I remember when they introduced blacklisting. It was awesome. Except most of the people I ended up blacklisting were those stupid spam bots. God I hated those. Couldn't keep my trade or shout channels open. Then trying to figure out how many were really gone and deleting the old ones from your list. And keeping the ones that were still around. Spam bots were the worst.
I know that blacklisting has been suggested a few times. Perhaps sometime soon when Sedy has some more time he can get that working.

yeah those gold bots were a pain is the butt and the only one's I blacklisted! xD

Yeeeah I blacklisted more bots than anything,
If the GMs are worried that people will blacklist them, they can already do that by blocking Whisper and turning chat off, no one can fully block out a GM coz they can use that big red writing that appears in the middle of the screen,
I know we can do that to whoever is annoying us too but that means blocking our chat all together :huh:

I had Kaizoku blacklisted on retail, yet he was still able to pm me, and I could see his text on normal chat

lol blacklisted Kai. You can still see his text because he was a h4x0r. I'm sure that feature didn't work in retail for the admins. Not sure about the GMs. I never EVER saw them around in game. Most of the time I saw Kaizoku.

yeah on retail my blacklist were ALL those damn spam bots -.- but yeah if Sedy had enough time he could probably program it so you CANT blacklist GMs =/

For the time being, if you ignore them they will stop. Ignore is the best defense against these noobs, so stop feeding the trolls until we find a way to deal with this.
