Hi, I’m making this thread to make a suggestion of making an increase to ignore magic defense rate of thunder sunder since the first idea I had was for both ITD’s to not have share cooldowns would make the wizard combo’s too OP, and like what my friends say too much ITD in succession= OP

Ice Age
Channeling the very primal essence of cold, drop the temperature in the target area to absolute zero, dealing 1000 bonus damage whilst ignoring 30% magic defense each tick (6 ticks)

Thunder Sunder
Unleash the power of the sky to sunder the clouds apart and crash down onto an area, causing 1600 bonus damage whilst ignoring 30% Magic Defense and heavily Dazing everyone hit.

The primary reason I have for this suggestion is because:
• Thunder sunder is an aoe ITD that ignores 30% magic defense like Ice Age, but Ice Age has quite the advantage since it’s channeling it can deal MORE damage, it’s 6 times of thunder sunder.

So the argument In mind of a wizard is this “why would I use thunder sunder when I can deal more damage using Ice age which is 6 times of thunder sunder?”

In addition, like what I said on the other thread, can the 100% boss damage of Ice arrow 3 be moved to Chilling shock 3? Just to be par with sorcs in terms of PvE though they still have the advantage since they do have elemental exposure as their debuff.

    I understand Sedy, but i hope the increase would make it worth using. Since it's sharing cooldown with Ice Age~ Anyways, looking forward on the update

    In the upcoming update Ice Arror 3, Chilling Shock 3 and also Permeating Chill 3 will give the buff to boss damage.

    Thunder Sunder damage will also be increased but since it's an instant AOE spell with debuffs it won't be a massive increase.

    I'm not too sure on the -def though.. since that's kinda unfair on locks in terms of pvp. Cos then you would have the same advantages of warlocks + stuns/crowd controls.

    Well idk if Sedy would do the -def on chilling shock 3. But i'd love to see that happen, it would make farming CH easier. cause dudeee. it takes 7mins to ch using a wizard and just 5 mins using a sorc ._.

    The problem here with the 100% bonus dmg, its that sorcerer have -def which makes them hit the bosses 100% while wizards doesnt have a debuff of defense but -attack instead which its not as worth as sorcerer debuff. Adding a -def skill for wizard would make it hit 100% as the sorcerer. And i have tried out the skills of wizard chilling shock doesnt give the 100% effect on bosses that is meant to give, which is why im saying to add a -def skill on wizard also tried ice arrow, which its almost useless cause no 100% chance on ice fusion and it doesnt add the 100% dmg boss as the tooltip describe it

    Suggestion [ just my suggestion ]
    Ice Prison Change to Chilling/Freezing Shield[or whatever name lol] - forms a thick glacier barrier around you that greatly slows anybody that attacks you

    1. 1min CD 10secs effect : attacker receives -30% aspd for 3s?
    2. 1min CD 15secs effect : attacker receives -40% aspd for 3s?
    3. 1min CD 20secs effect : attacker receives -50% aspd for 3s? [is this possible?][in DOTA its a skill called Untouchable]

    I agree with that idea hehe...anyways hope wizard shields can change to coz we cnt survive long unlike sorc coz our shield is 1 hit only in one ITD and thats unfair for our class....

    I'll take a look at Thunder Sunder.

    Chilling Shock 3 should already be granting 100% boss damage, it's just not mentioned on the tooltip. I will check it anyway.

    exactly, pwet is funny to verse, just has to keep potting to survive from being ganged, poor bastard lol. few from pando join but same goes for them, 70k or so for your class doesnt last long when your dishing out baby damage even with ITD against 110k HP + vanquisher or temps that dish out double against you and vanquisher having like 7 ITD's + CD reset lol

    Plus if wizard gets a boost it wont change much anyways, since in terms of PvP and BF-ing the only active ones is me and pwet (iNatsume).

    i dunno never used that class much, but from what ive seen in PVP would be nice for you guys to get a boost in power. simple ailment gets rid of your stun. so hopefully in the CQ patch or something you guys get changed a bit

    Yep it is true. I even pot a lot while being ganked or being against a good Vanq. Why? cause we have this 20k Ice shield that has never been a benefit at all. lol. can be removed with just 1 hit. so yea, in terms of survivability. Sorcs>Wizards

    also yeah hard to kill a good wizard but not many of them around anymore, alot of wizards i see need to pot like crazy or stun and run just to survive that bit longer but end vanquisher or templar breakfast lol

    I havent thought about that though. I just wanted a 100% boss damage for Chilling shock 3 but in terms of debuffing in PvP. Idk. Probably make a different effects on Ice prison and Ice wall cause i've never seen them be used in PvP. I dont even know if other wizards put any skill points on those skill. cause i didnt lol.

    well it makes sence since in PVP i have more trouble with sorcs then i do with wiz when its meant to be the other way around lol, with sorcs debuffs i can get hit 3-4k per hit but wiz just get owned, and it kinda sucks for you guys when me being a 165k HP templar is the target and i can hit you 5-6k or 25k + with ITD lol

    Of course before i made this suggestion i took inputs of players who really are active in PvP/BF, and they actually dont mind it as well. I am not asking for the old thunder sunder where i can actually do a 3-hit-combo on a sage, but just an increased rate that would actually make Thunder sunder worth using.

    i wouldnt mind giving wizards a boost in power, since against high HP targets they get messed up quick, especially templars, most wiz hit me for 1k or less or 8k with ITD so a boost would be more fun, (Dragonite)
