Basically, the gpotato server for Iris Online went down last year. But did that mean that the original Iris Online developers, Eyasoft (Korea), stopped with the development/update of Iris itself?

I understand that I still see active Taiwan, Funmily etc. servers and private servers like NoScrubs etc. still running their own, but what I want to know is if Eyasoft and the Iris Studios are still continuing developing the game. A friend told me that yes, Iris is still being updated by their original devs, but the latest news was in 2012, so I'm not so sure.

Sorry, this has been bugging me for a long while now.

There's been a lot of things posted on other server sites and I really want to know if Iris is technically still 'alive' within Eyasoft itself. If anyone here understands Korean and can read it, maybe you can help translate what's said on this link here :
http://www.eyasoft.co.kr/GAME/liveGame01.asp

And mouse over 'Game' on the upper left. What are the 2 tabs there?

Big thanks to anyone who can help clear this. I love Iris with a passion, for more than it's game, and would really want to know more.

Hm...I do not understand Korean and cannot simply paste the symbols into Google Translate, as they're a JPEG image, not actually written text.
Opened in browser, tabs read "liveGame01" (Service[d?] Game) and "workGame01" (Working [on?] Game).
Wild guess: games under "live" tag are those still in working order, those under "work" are in beta-test of some sort? This might mean that Iris' development is still ongoing (though, as I guess, "serviced" doesn't necessarily mean "updated"?).
Sorry if I'm being Captain Obvious, but this does concern me as well (I too love Iris), so I just had to drop something here.

EDIT: Strangely, typing Eyasoft Iris' address (iris.enpang.com, it's visible on the screenshots from the link above) into browser redirects me to cs.enpang.com instead (screenshot attached)...can't make out anything of here either. Judging by how iris.gpotato.com redirects you to GPotato main page, I'm guessing this might be the standard login page for Eyasoft accounts...which means Iris probably got either moved or shutdown.
Moreover, links for other games under that tab (Luna, for example) are nowhere to be found. Which is weird.

EDIT2: Lurking moar, I might've found out some hints at Iris' current state...I've googled all games listed there, and this is what I've made out:
{disclaimer: I only mention Korean servers, not Europe or smth else)
Legend of Edda got shutdown sometime earlier (but seems to be re-launching this year)
Titan Online was hard to get something about, but I managed to find its former address - titan.eyagames.com - which does not work.
I was unable to get anything on Luna, save for the former address - lunaplus.enpang.com - which, as well, doesn't work.
Don't really know if it's relevant, though, but I guess it's not exactly good news.
TL;DR: Eyasoft seems to have shut down their main domains - enpang.com and eyagames.com. What does this mean is up to discussion

Google translating the iris.enpang page definitely reads "Username" and "Password". Maybe only registered members can take a look; I'll try registering an account and see what happens.

Edit : Apparently it says something along the lines of "Registration is discontinued" according to Google translate.

Edit 2 : Friend told me there are rumors saying Eyasoft has been going downhill, and they're just trying to get back up again. Not by continuing development on current/past games though, but by making new ones, which I don't understand why they would do so. Iris was pretty successful wasn't it?
