Next Steps
Hello, have you settled in well?
Back for more after
part 1? This is a guide meant for those who are more used to the game, but still want to get better. Due to the fast leveling in this server, this is targeted at those almost at L85 or already there.
Part 1 covered the very basics of the following:

18. Life in Iris
You've managed to level up so far and been having fun. What's next?
It's time to have fun! People like to do different things in their time.
Some people like farming~ there's plenty of things to farm and it's a neverending job XD
Others enjoy dungeons! For these people, talk more, make friends and go on many dungeon runs! You can always use dungeon reset cards (can buy at Al Rotches or May) to continue going.
Yet others enjoy PVP. For these, you can go to PK maps or battlefield. Beware though, if you're new, you will need to gear up before doing well.
It's good to find a friendly guild that's active. Tip: look around you, which are the guilds you see more during your time zone?
19. Stats
So, I sometimes get asked.. what kind of cards should each character get? Is Power or Agility better for my character?
The quick answer is that it depends what you're planning to do with your character! Maybe you want to be tankier, maybe you want to have loads of attack!
But ... what I can tell you is the following:
Note: a + sign means that it gives more. E.g. Magic Attack(+) under Intelligence means that it gives more magic attack than Wisdom does.
Intelligence:
.....Magic Attack(+), Magic Def, Magic Hit, Heal, MP(+)
Wisdom:
.....Magic Attack, Magic Def, Magic Hit(+), Heal(+), MP, MP Recovery(+)
Power:
.....Physical Attack, Physical Def, Physical Hit
Agility:
.....Physical Attack, Physical Hit, Physical Evasion(+)
Stamina:
.....HP, HP Recovery(+), Physical Def, Weight
All Stat = 1 of each of the above. So yes, All Stat cards (of the same level) will give you better stats than any of these cards on their own. That's why they're expensive!

Some other special cards:
Nimble Tongue: these reduce your casting time. Usually used by healers if they do not have instant cast. Some RDPS have used it. Sold for tears at May, can drop at LiskN.
Evasion/Resistance cards: these give evasion/magic eva, more than the normal stats do. But..only eva at the cost of HP etc.
All Def cards: these give more def than normal stats do. But at the cost of all the other stats.

20. Farming Stat cards.. where?
In terms of the drop rate of these, you can check NSDB. Note: these are NOT guaranteed drops.
For stat IV: **tradeable**
CH (last boss, up to 3 cards) **SOLOABLE**
TOA (mobs + last boss)
CI (last boss)
WGI (last boss)
LiskN (special brilliant light cards that only fit into AB slots)
Magic Tower (you can buy using tokens) **SOLOABLE if under 85** (duo at 85)
Vortex&Snowy Mountain (if you are lucky to get them from boxes)
Fancy Giftbox (bought using General Medal from Terrio Lowman)**SOLOABLE by doing dailies**
Golden Temple (H & I) bosses
For stat V: **tradeable**
LiskH (drops 2 at a time)
LiskI (drops 3 at a time)
GTI bosses (1 at a time)
Can be bought for 50 moolah from moolah shop
For stat VI **untradeable**
Can only be bought for 80 moolah from moolah shop
Dual stat cards: (refer to NSDB to where they drop/are made/bought)
These are special cards that have 2 of the stats. IV have the same level as stat IV (ie stat IV is better) but V and VI are higher in stats than Allstat of the same level.
What does this mean? Should you use allstat or dualstat? It depends on your build strategy.
Example: For a sorc
Allstat +30 will give you +30 Int/wis/stam/power/agility
Dualstat Dragon +34 wll give you +34Int/WIs
Int and wis are the only stats that give you magic attack. So you may want to give up hp and pdef from the other stats in exchange for higher attack.
(PS - you can craft dual stat cards at a very low chance using cardmaster)
21. What's the best gear? **L85**
There is a new option for L85 gear for those who love to customize their gear. Catacombs gear. These drop from the bosses in Catacombs public raid dungeon/from boxes of daily quests in that map. Sealable. These are comparable to CQ depending on your build.
For L85, currently the best gear drops from the L86 Frigid Queen Glaceon world boss (in Crystal Tower via Hidden Cavern). These are untradeable and you need a raid to kill it. You cannot get this gear without gearing up first – you might OHKO if you try.
For second best gear (also the most attainable for most people after some hard work), that would be the
CQ85 gear. This is obtainable by doing a questline. (Not that easy, but definitely doable if you spend some time on it!) These are untradeable.
TOA Insane mode drops some awesome gear that's only slightly worse than CQ. Sealable (can buy from other players).
[strike]Third[/strike]Fourth best would be the gears that the Enraged Sakun and Tundro world bosses drop (in either SFD or PI). These are sealable and can be bought, but it's hard to collect all the pieces unless you kill them often.
New: Von Stein mansion gear - so far looks worse than CQ (Some physical sets seem to have higher attack at the cost of hit/eva)
Other 85 gear would be: the CI set, the set bought using trophies, and the TOAH set.
22. What's the best accessories? **L85**
This is very class and build dependent. You have to do some research of your own in NSDB xD
But – here are some places you can get accessories:
LiskI dungeon – Rhinestone accessories (lower grade Replica versions sold for trophies)
Namazu world boss – Omens accessories
Battlefield accessories bought from BF vendor using BF points
Some lower level accessories from Nereus
Cletus (a GM-summon only boss) drops a ticket box that leads to a quest for special Lustrous earrings
23. What weapon can I get? **L85**
There are a few types of weapon at L85. For these, it's not as clear cut as armor. Depending on your class, you might have a different preference (eg you want HP abs instead of raw attack)
Enhanced Crystalisk weapons – these are from a questline in doing the LiskI dungeon. **untradeable**
Quest 1: Kill Lisk Insane mode.
Quest 2: Kill Rhinestone Insane mode (she spawns in LiskI).
Quest 3: Collect Golden Eyes, Translucent Horn, 1 Obsidian Ore and a L75 Lisk weapon to make your L85 enhanced crystalisk weapon
Golden Temple weapons – these are from the Golden Temple dungeon **sealable**
There are 3 types here: Rusty Moon, Brilliant Sun, Brilliant Moon. (going from lowest to highest attack).
However, check NSDB before deciding which one you want. E.g. Brilliant Moon staff has the highest attack and -ct, but Rusty Moon has HP Abs.
Imbued Nereus weapons – these are crafted using alchemy **sealable**
You need the L75 weapon and Nereus heart (drop from Nereus world boss in PI/AS), 5 diamond ores and 10 platinum ores to craft this. Generally lower in attack than the others, but occasionally you find useful properties depending on your class.
Imbued Bloodletter weapons – these are crafted using cardmaster **sealable**
You need the L75 weapon and Ulric heart (drop from Ulric world boss in EOA/CS), 5 diamond ores and 10 platinum ores to craft this. Generally lower in attack than the others, but occasionally you find useful properties depending on your class. People like this for the HP Abs.
Imbued Livid weapons (usually named after food eg Pizza shield, Frying pan) – these are crafted using chef **sealable**
You need the L75 weapon and Livid's secret ingredient (drop from Livid world boss in CS), 5 diamond ores and 10 platinum ores to craft this. Generally lower in attack than the others, but occasionally you find useful properties depending on your class. People like this for the HP Abs and looks.
L85 CQ weapon **untradeable, from quest**
After your L85 armor, you have another quest for a weapon. It's pretty easy to do if you get a friend to help you.
24. Enhancing equipment
Yes you should do this! Should you do it while you're leveling? Probably not. It can get pretty expensive to enhance equipment especially when you're leveling quickly. But if you want to do dungeons and think you'll be in your current gear for a while, you might want to do this.
How to enhance? You can enhance using normal cards with no property, or colored cards with property. This is true for both armor and weapon.
Read more about it
In terms about how to get these colored cards, you can try auction house, or if you have the materials needed to make them, you can ask your friend or guildie to make them for you.
25. More about Monster transformations
So, now you know how to use them. What are some of the commonly used cards?
Nirenia – Awesome card. Has both a stun and a shield.
Rock Golem – Awesome for melee users: unlimited AOE ability
Sand Ghost – Good for melee in PVP: gives a physical hit buff (you can buff yourself and un-trans)
Beak Blade – Essential for melee in PVE: gives a spammable -def debuff
Big-eyed owl – Spammable movespeed buff
Niria – gives buff that allows you to use your MP as HP
Starving Hunting dog – gives buff that increases attack speed (does not stack with owl speed buff)
Valley Lizard (or the RSH version): immunity to stun
There are many more transformations that are useful, but in the meantime, practise being able to transform quickly and cancel transformation quickly too.
26. More about Costumes
As you leveled, you may have gotten costumes from treasure bandits. You can wear these, sell these or decomp them for 25 tears. Note: after you unseal them, it costs 5 moolah to buy a costume seal to seal it again.
But which costume should you use? Well, again, depends on your personal taste and preference. You may wish to go for the prettiest or fastest one or the cheapest XD
Again, it depends on what you're planning to do.
Tear costumes: these drop from treasure bandits and are usually pretty affordable in the auction house. No set effects. Mostly the effects are the same for each particular type, even if the looks vary.
Moolah costumes: these are 4-part costumes that are sold for moolah. They have more slots possible and have different effects from the 1-part costumes. People either use 2 of each set or 4 of each set, depending on what they want.
Tear set effects: Long ago there were tear costumes with set effects that are no longer being sold. Older players do still sell these.
Costume bundles: These have set effects too and are still for sale, but come with the full set.
Cloaks: Shining trophy cloaks and moolah cloaks have different effects. Players do sell trophies, or you can farm them. There are also lisk cloaks which give boss dmg.
Back: Normal effects or the crystalisk flag effect(boss dmg). Both are often seen in auction.
27. Skill builds
This is another common question – what build to get?
Unfortunately, it's something that people choose on their own. What I would suggest is checking the class NPCs (top left terminus) to see what kind of skills are available. It's worth spending the time to read the different skill descriptions.
Yes, you can always reset your skills if you buy a skill reset potion at May.
You can also chat to other players of the same class about what skills they think are important.
Currently there is a
sorc guide,
sample prophet skill tree,
sniper guide,
PVE windwalker.
Hopefully more people will post their skill trees too XD

That's it for now XD Yay wall of text lol. And yes, if you have questions you can reply below, or if you're shy to post you can PM me on forums.
Cheers!
