hello, i have a weird problem,

i just started the game for the first time, i went to fullscreen mode with a resolution of 1920x1080(i dont know if its important or not) but then the game starts with a black screen, the music somethimes playing, the cursor flickering between the game one, and the windows one. When i start the game win windowed mode, its the same thing, except i dont get a black screen, but still see the desktop. i aslo cant quit, the only way to stop it is to log off of my computer, or shut it down...
I dont know ehat to do, please help!
