The following changes to class skills will be introduced in the next update, coming mid-January.

CLASS SKILLS
Damage Absorb
Damage Absorb has become a major problem with several classes being able to permanently cap their damage absorb with very little effort. It has played a major part in why monsters need to do such massive damage which in turn has made it very difficult for some classes to remain competitive and required for PvE content. The same can be said about player damage to some extent.

Permanent auras, passives and some long duration buffs that grant Physical, Magic or All Absorb have been changed. They have either been reverted to what they were before (retail rates) or changed to match their previous job version.

Changes to absorb are not only restricted to class skills - absorb will also be removed or reduced on shields, and reduced or changed in some way on enhancements and consumables such as potions.

Damage absorb is already capped at 80% and you might wonder why I don't reduce that further. If I were to reduce the cap, it would also affect temporary absorb that you get from potions, weapon and armor chance effects, temporary skills etc. that is not my aim here - temporary absorb is absolutely fine (although some have been reduced too) - the problem is the amount of PERMANENT absorb.

Hit %
Due to the way in which the Hit% stat is calculated and how stats have scaled as the game has grown, permanent auras and long duration buffs that grant Physical or Magic Hit% have been changed to Physical Hit+ or Magic Hit+.

Invoked Effects
Many skills that have a chance to provide you with a buff or effect (Invoked Effects) have been adjusted depending on the rank of the skill. For example, the Fighter's Mighty Blow previously had a chance to grant you a Physical Crit buff at 20% chance for all ranks, but has now been changed to 15% at rank 1, 20% at rank 2 and 25% at rank 3. This skill now has an extra 5% chance at MAX rank and is typical of the changes. Several skills that had their chance increased have had the duration of the buff reduced to compensate.

Effects
Many skills that have a chance to cause a debuff or effect (Effects) have been adjusted depending on the rank of the skill. For example, the Fighter's Exposure previously had an 80% chance to reduce Physical Defense at all ranks, but has now been changed to 60% at rank 1, 70% at rank 2 and 80% at rank 3, meaning you now need to invest Skill Points into the skill to obtain rank 3 for the 80% chance to land the debuff. This is typical of the changes but in some cases the final rank of the skill has been given a higher or lower chance than before and the duration of the effect adjusted too.

This should introduce much more variation in skill builds since you no longer get the high chance at rank 1 of the skill.

The Invoked Effect and Effect chance rates can now be seen in the skill tooltips of the Skill interface (press K to open).


CLASS
As mentioned above under EFFECTS, all skills that have a chance effect on the target, such as a debuff, dot, stun, immobilize etc. now have different chance to land depending on the rank of the skill. Every skill in the game from all classes and all jobs has been changed and it's too much to list individually but the majority of skills remain at 80% chance at their max rank, reducing by 5-10% per rank depending on the type of debuff it has and how many ranks the skills has. You can check the skill tooltips ingame for the exact chance rates.

Example:
Berzerker's Comet Strike
Previously this skill had an 80% chance to reduce All Stats by a set amount at ALL ranks.
Now this skill has 60% at Rank 1, 65% at Rank 2, 70% at Rank 3, 75% at Rank 4, and 80% at Rank 5.


FIGHTER
Fortified Heavy Armor now grants 166/498/830 All Defense instead of 2/4/6% All Absorb.
Mighty Blow chance to grant All Absorb changed to 15/20/25% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Hefty Swing chance to grant Physical Crit changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s..
Accelerated Chop chance to grant Attack Speed changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Accelerated Jab chance to grant Attack Speed changed to 15/20/25% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.


KNIGHT
Restraint Amnesty duration reverted down to 5/10s from 10/15s.
Safeguard 2 reverted to original 975/1162/1387 Physical Defense instead of 2/4/5% All Absorb.
Protective Posture 2 now grants 975/1162/1387 Physical Defense instead of 1/3/5% All Absorb.
Protective Armor duration reverted down to 10s (both ranks) from 15s.


TEMPLAR
Protective Posture 3 now grants 1700/1900/2100 Physical Defense instead of 5% All Absorb and rank 2/3 healing amount reduced to 1% from 2/3%.
Shield Bash 3 chance to grant shield layers changed to 50/55/60/65/70/75/80% (from 80%) and no longer grants Physical Protection.
Radiance chance to reduce Physical Hit and grant shield layers changed to 60/70/80% (from 80%).
Aegis Strike no longer grants shield layers.
Shield layer buffs granted from Shield Bash 3, Radiance and Brace cannot be active at the same time. This was already the case for Shield Bash 3 and Brace.
Armor Destruction 3 changed to reduce Physical Defense by 4000/5000/6000/7000, Physical Evasion by 140/165/190/215 & Physical Protection by 175/200/225/250 with a 40/50/60% chance depending on rank (was 80% at all ranks).
Repentance no longer reduces Physical Damage Absorb.
Holy Word: Smite Magic Absorb reduction reduced to -10% at all ranks with 60/65/70/75/80% chance.


GLADIATOR
Skill Paralysis cooldown reduced to 90s.
Whirlwind 2 now ignores 20/25/30/35/40% armor.
Lacerate 2 chance to grant Strength changed to 10/13/16/19/22/24/26/28/30% (from 20%).


CRUSADER
Open Wounds now has a chance to place a Lifetap debuff on the target, causing all damage done to the target to return 5/8/10% HP back to the attacker(s). The old effect of granting only the Crusader 4/8/14% Lifesteal has been removed.
Impregnable Cataclysm 2 cooldown reduced to 8s, the same as Impregnable Cataclysm from the Gladiator tree.
Coup de Grace cooldown reduced to 12s and tooltip fixed, it no longer causes additional aggro.
Rupture cooldown reduced to 40s.
Petrify 2 cooldown reduced to 30s.
Exposure 3 cooldown reduced to 7s and corrected the debuff as it was reducing Physical Crit instead of the intended Physical Protection.
Skill Paralysis 2 cooldown reduced to 90s.
Vampiric Curse cooldown reduced to 30s, debuff duration reduced to 10/15s and efficiency changed to 9.
Whirlwind 3 now ignores 20/25/30/35/40% armor.


MERCENARY
Tyrant Strike chance to grant Physical Crit changed to 10/13/16/19/22/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Accelerated Chop 2 chance to grant Attack Speed changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Accelerated Jab chance to grant Attack Speed changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Chilled Slash chance to grant 10% All Absorb changed to 15/20/25% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Chilled Tempest Penetration chance to grant Ignore Defense changed to 15/20/25% but duration reduced to 10s.


SOULBLADER
Path of Oblivion now grants 40/70/100 Physical and Magic Hit, instead of 4/7/10% Physical and Magic Hit.
Chilled Slash 2 chance to grant 10% All Absorb changed to 35/40/45/50% (from 50%) and duration reduced to 10s.
Accelerated Chop 2 chance to grant Attack Speed changed to 20/25/30/35/40% (from 30%), amount of Attack Speed changed to 15% at all ranks but duration reduced to 10s.
Tyrant Strike 2 chance to grant Physical Crit changed to 20/23/26/29/32/35/40% (from 30%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Frostbite Strike no longer reduces Physical Damage Absorb.
Aeolian Strike rank 2 Physical Absorb reduction reduced to -10%, same as rank 1.


WARRIOR
Final Promise rank 4 duration fixed, it should be 30s not 3m.
Fortified Heavy Armor now grants 166/498/830 All Defense instead of 2/4/6% All Absorb.
Blood Echo chance to grant HP Absorb changed to 15/20/25% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Hefty Swing chance to grant Physical Crit changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.


GUARDIAN
Indomitability reverted to 60s cooldown, same as the equivalent Knight skill Restraint Amnesty.
Barrier reverted and now grants 15/26% All Absorb for 10s instead of 15/35% All Absorb.
Protective Posture 2 now grants 975/1162/1387 Physical Defense instead of 1/3/5% All Absorb.


CHAMPION
Protective Posture 3 now grants 1% HP every 5s and 1700/1900/2100 Physical Defense instead of 5% All Absorb and 4/7/10% Healing Received.
Beastial Aspect: Hawk now grants 100/200 Physical and Magic Hit instead of 10/20% Physical and Magic Hit.
Shield Bash 3 chance to grant damage reflect changed to 50/55/60/65/70/75/80% (from 100%).
Funeral Bell chance to grant damage reflect changed to 60/70/80% (from 100%).
Rotating Shield Bash chance to grant damage reflect changed to 55/60/65/70/75/80% (from 100%).
Guardian's Call chance to reduce Physical Defense changed to 50/60% (from 80%).
Lion's Roar now has a chance to cause Immobilize for 3s instead of Stun.
Body Fortification reduced to 10/20/30% Physical Defense in exchange for -10/-20/-30% Magic Defense but no longer reduces own Magic Damage Absorb by -5/-10/-15%.
Mind Fortification reduced to 10/20/30% Magic Defense in exchange for -10/-20/-30% Physical Defense but no longer reduces own Physical Damage Absorb by -5/-10/-15%.


BERZERKER
Shockwave cooldown reduced to 24s.
Skill Paralysis cooldown reduced to 90s.
Lacerate 2 chance to grant Strength changed to 10/13/16/19/22/24/26/28/30% (from 20%).
Destruction now ignores 60/70% Physical Defense and animation changed so that is can be used whilst running.
Frost Strike 2 now reduces Movement Speed by 30/35/40/45/50/55/60/65/70%.


VANQUISHER
Relentless Assault no longer has a chance to grant ITD over time and therefore no longer reduces your Damage Absorb or Movement Speed.
Frenzied Edge cooldown reduced to 30s and now additionally ignores 20/30/40% armor. The HP cost of using the skill and the amount recovered over the next 10s has been reduced to 10k HP for all ranks.
Shockwave 2 ranks 1-6 cooldown reduced to 20s (same as rank 7), targets increased to 4/4/4/5/5/5/6, ITD reduced slightly to 20/25/30/35/40/45/50%.
Hurricane 2 targets increased to 4/4/5/5/6.
Skill Paralysis 2 cooldown reduced to 90s.
Impale cooldown reduced to 24s and ITD reduced to 40/50/60%.
Demoralize cooldown reduced to 30s.
Forceful Throw ranks 1 & 2 cooldown reduced to 15s, the same as rank 3.
Raging Sweep ITD over time changed to 60/70% and tooltip updated to show the skill adds upto 2 more targets to area skills whilst active. Animation changed so that it can be used whilst running.
Stampede cooldown reduced to 60s.
Overpower now temporarily reduces your Physical Defense by 50% instead of Physical Damage Absorb by 100%.


BARBARIAN
Penetrating Edge 2 chance to grant All Armor Penetration changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Tyrant Strike chance to grant Physical Crit changed to 10/13/16/19/22/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.


MYRMIDON
Tiger Stance now grants 50/100/150/200 Physical Hit instead of 10/20/30/40% Physical Hit.
Phoenix Stance now grants 50/100/150/200 Magic Hit (as it always stated in the skill tooltip) not 50/100/150/200%.
Blaze character animation changed and now does damage once, not twice. Total damage remains the same.
Backdraft now has a 70/80% chance to reduce the target's Magic Defense by -3000/-4000 for 6s. Rank 2 HP damage per second increased to -2000, so it still does the same amount of damage as before when it was -1500 per second for 8s.
Dragon Force cooldown reduced to 24s and rank 2 bonus damage reduced to 60%.
Hemorrhage 2 chance to grant HP Absorb changed to 65/70/75/80% (from 80%).
Tyrant Strike 2 chance to grant Physical Crit changed to 20/25/30/35/40% (from 30%) but duration reduced to 10s.


RANGER
Blood Consciousness chance to grant HP Absorb changed to 10/15/20/25% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Tempest Strike chance to grant All Eva changed to 10/15/20/25% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.


ADVENTURER
Rapid Attack 2 chance to grant Attack Speed changed to 10/13/16/19/22/24/26/28/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Dexterous Jab 2 chance to grant Attack Speed changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Tempest Assault 2 chance to grant Attack Speed changed to 10/15/20/25% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Tempest Blitz chance to grant Physical Evasion changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.


WIND WALKER
Dragon Tail chance to Stun reduced to 60/70/80% (from 100%) but all ranks Stun duration increased to 2s.
Exposed Armor 2 instead of reducing Physical Absorb, Defense and Protection for 5s and 1 hit, this skill now reduces Physical and Magic Protection by -200 for 20s with a 60/70/80% chance. Cooldown changed to 60s and range increased to 10m the same as Exposed Armor in the Adventurer tree.


SCOUT
Fortified Mail Armor 2 now grants 250/500/750 All Defense instead of 2/4/6% Physical Absorb.
Rapid Fire chance to grant Attack Speed changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.


SNIPER
Fortified Mail Armor 3 now grants 1000/1250/1500 All Defense instead of 2/4/6% Magic Absorb.
Hit'n'Run chance to increase Movement and Attack Speed changed to 60/70/80% (from 100%).


ROGUE
Blood Consciousness chance to grant HP Absorb changed to 10/15/20/25% but duration reduced to 10s.
Shadow Strike chance to grant Movement Speed changed to 10/15/20/25% (from 20%).
Wind Purification tooltip updated: The purifying power of the wind cleanses you of ailments. Removes [Debuffs] with an efficiency EQUAL TO the skill's efficiency.


SHADOW WALKER
Swift Attack 2 chance to grant Physical Crit changed to 10/13/16/19/22/24/26/28/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Spiral Jab 2 chance to grant Physical Crit changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Accurate Lunge chance to grant Physical Crit changed to 15/20/25% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.
Shadowstrike chance to grant Movement Speed changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%).


ASSASSIN
Shadowstrike 2 chance to grant All Attack and Movement Speed changed to 65/70/75/80% (from 80%).
Savage Toenail chance to grant HP Absorb changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) and duration reduced from 8 to 6s.
Exterminate chance to Stun changed to 60/70/80% (from 80%) and all ranks duration increased to 3s.
Phase Collision Physical Damage Absorb reduction reduced to -40-50%.


HUNTER
Fortified Mail Armor 2 now grants 250/500/750 All Defense instead of 2/4/6% Magic Absorb.
Focused Fire chance to grant Physical Crit changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%) but duration reduced to 10s.


SHARP SHOOTER
Fortified Mail Armor 3 now grants 1000/1250/1500 All Defense instead of 2/4/6% Physical Absorb.
Barbed Shot 2 chance to grant Attack Speed changed to 70/75/80% (from 80%).
Ranged Fire 3 now grants the same 200/250/300 Range as Ranged Fire 2, but keeps the additional Attack Speed. Loss of 1m range.
Hawk Eye 2 now grants the same 200/300 Range as Hawk Eye, but keeps the additional Physical Hit and Ranged Attack Power. Loss of 1m range.


MAGE
Fortified Cloth Armor now grants 55/165/275 HP and 2/5/8 HP Recovery instead of 2/4/6% All Absorb.
Chilling Shock Boss Damage changed to 60/70/80/90/100% (from 100%). Chance to activate remains at 100% chance.
Permeating Chill chance to grant Ice Infusion changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%).


MAGICIAN
Fortified Cloth Armor 2 now grants 550/1100/1650 HP and 9/18/30 HP Recovery instead of 2/4/6% All Absorb.
Ice Arrow 2 chance to grant Ice Infusion changed to 10/13/16/19/22/24/26/28/30% (from 20%) and Boss Damage changed to 60/65/70/75/80/85/90/95/100% (from 100%).
Chilling Shock 2 Boss Damage changed to 60/70/80/90/100% (from 100%). Chance to activate remains at 100% chance.

WIZARD
Fortified Cloth Armor 3 now grants 2630/3630/4630 HP and 100/150/200 HP Recovery instead of 2/4/6% Magic Absorb.
Cold Radiance now grants 40/70/100 Physical and Magic Hit, instead of 4/7/10% Physical and Magic Hit.
Ice Arrow 3 chance to grant Boss Damage and Ice Infusion changed to 20/23/26/29/32/35/40% (from 30%) and Boss Damage changed to 70/75/80/85/90/95/100% (from 100%).
Chilling Shock 3 Boss Damage changed to 60/70/80/90/100% (from 100%). Chance to activate remains at 100% chance.
Permeating Chill 3 chance to grant Boss Damage changed to 10/20/30/40% (from 30%) and Boss Damage changed to 70/80/90/100% (from 100%).


PRIEST
Fortified Cloth Armor 2 now grants 550/1100/1650 HP and 9/18/30 HP Recovery instead of 2/4/6% All Absorb.
Earthen Blessing tooltip updated to show it grants All Absorb, not PvP Absorb as previously stated.


SAINT
Fortified Cloth Armor 3 now grants 2630/3630/4630 HP and 100/150/200 HP Recovery instead of 2/4/6% Magic Absorb.
Ward can no longer be used with the Prophet's Thorns - only one or the other can be active.
Mana Drain chance to reduce target's MP and grant Saint MP changed to 80% (from 100%).
Earthen Blessing 2 tooltip updated to show it grants All Absorb, not PvP Absorb as previously stated.
Mana Void now additionally grants Skill Paralysis.
Intervention reworked to remove and immunise against Physical, Magic and Poison debuffs upto efficiency 10 for 10s. Cooldown remains the same at 60/45/30s.
Weakness Dispel, Augment Dispel and Toxicant Dispel are now applied to all party members within 10m when used in Unholy Form.
Unholy Feedback range was out of whack, it has been corrected to the intended 10m.
Celestial Anger 2 when used in Unholy Form range was also out of whack, it has been corrected to the intended 10m.

All Mage/Priest/Saint dispel skills (Weakened Dismissal, Augment Dismissal, Antidote, Weakness/Augment/Toxicant Dispel) tooltips updated to state they remove debuffs of EQUAL efficiency and below, not debuffs BELOW the skills efficiency, that was incorrect.


SHAMAN
Fortified Cloth Armor now grants 55/165/275 HP and 2/5/8 HP Recovery instead of 2/4/6% All Absorb.
Viscerate chance to grant Movement Speed changed to 10/15/20/25/30% (from 20%).
Tempest Shock Boss Damage changed to 60/70/80/90/100% (from 100%). Chance to activate remains at 100% chance.

All Shaman dispel skills (Weakened Dismissal, Augment Dismissal, Antidote) tooltips updated to state they remove debuffs of EQUAL efficiency and below, not debuffs BELOW the skills efficiency, that was incorrect.


WARLOCK
Fortified Cloth Armor 2 now grants 550/1100/1650 HP and 9/18/30 HP Recovery instead of 2/4/6% All Absorb.
Tempest Arrow 2 chance to grant Wind Infusion changed to 10/13/16/19/22/24/26/28/30% (from 20%) and Boss Damage changed to 60/65/70/75/80/85/90/95/100% (from 100%).
Tempest Shock 2 Boss Damage changed to 60/70/80/90/100% (from 100%). Chance to activate remains at 100% chance.


SORCERER
Fortified Cloth Armor 3 now grants 2630/3630/4630 HP and 100/150/200 HP Recovery instead of 2/4/6% Magic Absorb.
Tempest Shock 3 Boss Damage changed to 70/80/90/100% (from 100%). Chance to activate remains at 100% chance.


SAGE
Fortified Cloth Armor 2 now grants 550/1100/1650 HP and 9/18/30 HP Recovery instead of 2/4/6% All Absorb.
Natural Power 2 reverted to 1390/1560/1730 All Defense down from 2000/3000/4000 All Defense.


PROPHET
Fortified Cloth Armor 3 now grants 2630/3630/4630 HP and 100/150/200 HP Recovery instead of 2/4/6% Magic Absorb.
Natural Power 3 reduced to 2230/2310/2450 All Defense and 50/100/150 Physical and Magic Protection.
Thorns can no longer be used with the Saint's Ward - only one or the other can be active.
Transfusion cooldown increased to 10s and chance to heal target now at 70/80/90%.
Moonlit Sanctuary 2 now grants 2/3/5% MP every 5s for 30s instead of 5/8/10% every 5s for 30s.


Because Prophets need a skill that can remove efficiency 11 debuffs a new rank of the 3 circles was added in the last update. However, due to issues with the way the Immunity mechanic works it is not possible to restrict by efficiency which meant to make the circles work on efficiency 11 debuffs I had to make some changes to code which had the unfortunate effect of making all immunity giving spells and items (wearing cards, mount runes) remove and immunise efficiency 11 debuffs which is not intended. So...

Rank 2 of Hallowed Ground 2, Enchanted Ground 2 and Nullified Ground 2 have been removed.

Life Font, Life Balance and Life and Death skills have been removed. One was OP and the other two useless.

New Prophet versions of the Shaman job's single target dispells have been added.
Weakened Dismissal 2
Cleanse an ally's physical form, removing a [Physical] debuff. Removes debuffs equal to the skill's efficiency.
Rank 1 available at level 75. Removes Physical debuffs upto efficiency 9.
Rank 2 available at level 80. Removes Physical debuffs upto efficiency 10.
Rank 3 available at level 85. Removes Physical debuffs upto efficiency 11.

Augment Dismissal 2
Cleanse an ally's spiritual essence, removing a [Magic] debuff. Removes debuffs equal to the skill's efficiency.
Rank 1 available at level 75. Removes Physical debuffs upto efficiency 9.
Rank 2 available at level 80. Removes Physical debuffs upto efficiency 10.
Rank 3 available at level 85. Removes Physical debuffs upto efficiency 11.

Antidote 2
Cleanse an ally's body of toxins, removing a [Poison] debuff. Removes debuffs equal to the skill's efficiency.
Rank 1 available at level 75. Removes Physical debuffs upto efficiency 9.
Rank 2 available at level 80. Removes Physical debuffs upto efficiency 10.
Rank 3 available at level 85. Removes Physical debuffs upto efficiency 11.


ALL CLASSES
All skills with chance to grant Boss Hunter 50% Boss Damage buff have been changed to have an 80% chance to activate.



DAMAGE ABSORB ITEM CHANGES
Shields
Shields are being nerfed - it mostly affects level 75+ shields that have both Absorb and Reflect stats on them (which is pretty much all of them since level 75 was introduced).

The 5% All Stats are also being removed completely on Unique quality shields and being replaced with 5% Stamina on Epic quality. All high-level weapons have 5% All Stats but tanks benefit from it twice since they equip both a 1H Sword and Shield.

Tanks also benefit from double the amount of card slots on their 1H and Sword combo but I will leave them alone for now. The amount of slots might be reduced on future items.

All shields that previously had some form of Absorb (All, Physical, Magic Absorb) and All Reflect Damage had the All Reflect Damage removed. Shields that had only Reflect Damage remain the same.

Most shields that previously had All Absorb have been changed to either Physical Absorb or Magic Absorb and the amount changed.
All shields with Magic Absorb or that have now been changed to have Magic Absorb had their Physical / Magic Defense stats reversed so they now give more Magic Defense than Physical.

Some level 85+ shields had their aggro amount reduced slightly.

TL;DR
Most shields lost their All Reflect and All Absorb was changed to Magic Absorb or Physical Absorb. No more double-dipping the 5% All Stats from weapons, shield All Stats was replaced with Stamina.


Enhancements
All Evasion on Hands Orange Enhancement has been changed to Physical Evasion and increased to 200. Magic Evasion is now obtained from Yellow Enhancement.

All Absorb on Chest Colorless Enhancement has been changed to Physical Absorb and reduced to 10% max. Magic Absorb is now obtained from Green Enhancement.

Note: There will also be new options added to the existing color enhancement cards in the next update, giving more choices when it comes to enhancing your equipment. More info on these soon.


Potions
Potion of Power, Passion and Protection have been adjusted with some duration reductions for Power/Passion and amount of absorb for some Protection potions:
Potion of Power
I - 50% Physical Absorb for 8s
II - 50% Physical Absorb for 9s
III - 50% Physical Absorb for 10s
IV - 50% Physical Absorb for 11s
V - 50% Physical Absorb for 12s

Potion of Passion
I - 50% Magic Absorb for 8s
II - 50% Magic Absorb for 9s
III - 50% Magic Absorb for 10s
IV - 50% Magic Absorb for 11s
V - 50% Magic Absorb for 12s

Potion of Protection
I - 5% All Absorb for 30m
II - 8% All Absorb for 30m
III - 10% All Absorb for 30m
IV - 10% All Absorb + 5% Healing Received for 30m
V - 12% All Absorb + 5% Healing Received for 30m


MONSTER
Level 65-99 field map monster damage reduced considerably to improve the leveling experience. Elites and Veterans remain the same as before.
The jump in damage for UH/NS/SFD monsters has been evened out so it's not such a shock to new players leveling up.

Due to the reduction of permanent damage absorb, many dungeon monsters and bosses have been adjusted.
ToAN trash and boss monster damage reduced by up to 25%
LI trash and boss monster damage reduced by 10%
DI trash and boss monster damage reduced by 10%
WGI trash monster ITD skills reduced.
ToAH boss monster ITD skills reduced.
ToAH trash monster damage reduced by ~10% and no longer ignore defense in any of their skills.
VSMN monster ITD skills reduced and some removed.
GTN trash monster now have less skills with ITD.
GTN boss monster damage adjusted and ITD amounts reduced.
GTH trash monster now have less skills with ITD.
GTH boss monster damage adjusted and ITD amounts reduced.
ToAI boss monster ITD skills reduced.
ToAI trash monster damage reduced ~10-25% and ITD amounts reduced or removed.
GTI trash and boss monster damage adjusted and ITD amounts reduced or removed.
VSMH trash monster ITD skills reduced.
VSMH boss monster skill damage adjusted.
Catacombs trash and boss monster ITD skills reduced.
LiskN ITD reduced slightly.
LiskH ITD reduced slightly.
Nereus, Namazu, Cletus, Frigid Queen Glaceon (and Shadows and Enslaved Neills) ITD skills reduced and overall damage reduced.
Sandstorm Tundro and Sakun damage reduced.
MTI monster ITD skills reduced or removed.
SM (all modes) miniboss ITD skills reduced.
Excavater debuff Reduce Absorb reduced to efficiency 11. The smaller stacking all absorb debuff remains at 99.
Several bosses that spawn their own monsters have had the spawn amounts reduced, including Arcturis, Frigid Queen Glaceon, Nereus, Livid.


CONCLUSION
The most notable change from all this will be the amount of damage you take due to the reduction in available Damage Absorb. It will be far more noticeable on the tanking classes and the cloth wearing classes, both casters and healers, due to the amount of permanent absorb these classes were obtaining from passive skills and auras.

Whilst some changes have already been made to damage, ITD and absorb reducing skills, the fact the mentioned classes will take more damage is intended and the entire point of these changes to absorb, so don't expect further massive reductions in damage. Tanks job is to take and mitigate damage, but not to completely reduce it to nothing because they absorb it all, and cloth classes SHOULD feel it when they get hit.

I'm still going through skills, testing and making further changes, but this is the bulk of the update expected in mid-January.
