SEASONAL EVENT: HALLOWEEN
It's nearly Halloween in Arcana!
Denubu has arrived in Terminus with a daily quest to hunt down Jack'o'Lantern* in selected dungeons. Hunt down Jack'o'Lantern throughout the Halloween period and collect Jack's Dicky Pins and Candy Bats to trade back to Denubu for Jack's Wheels mounts.





Jack'o'Lantern can also drop DNA that can be combined by Avery in Terminus into your very own Jack'o'Lantern battle pet. This magic melee pet can attack upto 6 targets at a time upto 6m away with every attack with a chance of reducing their All Defense!



Denubu also has a Halloween Store selling food, costumes and mounts, the Pet Exchange Store where you can exchange your collected Pet Summoning Pieces for pet summoning cards, Halloween quests, and free 1 hour Broomstick Hire.



Pumpkins have been placed all over Terminus and can be picked on the hour, every hour, for 5 minutes. Turn up your volume and listen out for the cackling witch and get picking and find the Pet Summoning Pieces and Candy Bats.



Dimensional portals are being sighted all over Arcana with ghouls and zombies pouring through. Defeat them and collect even more Candy Bats.

Seasonal event buffs are being awarded every time a world boss is killed - everyone gets a buff!

Keep an eye on the front page of the website for upcoming server event buffs too. Drop rate, Battlefield point bonus, Rep bonus and more will be added during the Halloween period.

Wed 16th October - Fri 15th November: 5% Bonus Damage to Undead/Humanoid/Spirit monsters.
Sat 26th October: 100% Reputation Bonus, 100% Experience and Skill Experience.
Sun 27th October: 100% Experience and Skill Experience.
Thu 31st October: 200% Experience and Skill Experience, 50% Monster Drops, 50% Gold Drops, 50% Battlefield Points Bonus.

*Jack'o'Lantern is a boss with similar difficulty to the final boss of the dungeon it is found in. For players of level 40-74 this will be Decomus Hard, for level 75-84 Circus Hard and level 85+ Circus Insane.

Halloween in Arcana runs until the 15th November at Midnight.


MANTLE
Halloween mantles Reaper's Mantle Schematic and Bat Cloak Mantle Schematic are once again available to buy from the Shopping Mall, as well as brand new mantle schematic Chained Demon.

BATTLE PETS
Battle Pets are now immune to Monster area of effect, multi-target and totem/circle skills, opening up lots of possibilities when it comes to choosing your pets for PvE content! This is a game changer for melee characters that were having difficulties using pets before, especially the tank classes due to positioning.

New Battle Pet: Jack'o'Lantern
Magic Melee (Hybrid) type with a 6m range auto-attack that does damage to multiple targets, with a 10% chance to reduce All Defense by 10% for 10s.



Collect DNA by defeating the Jack'o'Lantern boss in Decomus Hard, Circus Hard, and Circus Insane.


MONSTERS
General
Corrected a bug with monsters following a target endlessly if it could not reach it to attack it (ie it has no ranged skills and the target is faster than the monster) - allowing other players to damage it without consequence even though their threat was much higher than the targets.
Beware: This will also cause packs of monsters that a tank is luring to switch target to you if you damage them and cause more threat than what the tank has caused - as it always should have been. So ensure you wait for the tank to finish rounding up monsters and start to build threat on them before you start damaging them.

Dead Man's Peak
The follow distance and follow time of the Ogres in Dead Man's Peak has been increased.

The Neothelid skill that targets distant players had it's cooldown increased to 15s and it's damage reduced slightly.

Catacombs
The follow distance and follow time of Warders, Sentinels, and Toxic Slimes has been increased.

SKILLS
Dark Seed visual effect corrected. It was using the Reflect visual.

INTERFACE
Guild
Added a scroll bar to the Guild Finder's list of recruiting guilds. Sorry to the guilds that have been hidden until now!

Tarot
The missing icons for buffs obtained from Event Spread and Special Event Spread have been corrected.
