Hey Sedy, some adjustments maybe for these extra content.

Hell modes as far as I know are more of the "bonus" dungeons that doesnt really drop anything "useful" so to speak but is good for farming either cards or the skill books. The sad thing is, the people who can even run this dungeon need to be so fully geared already that the drops are quite useless for us.

Long story short, we're just in it for that moolah quest you did that only needs to be cleared once. I believe most people has done Hell 1/2 at least because it's not tooooo challenging at those stages.

I propose Hell Modes to be adjusted again~

Laioha is really difficult due to the 50% below of Special + All Abs buff on the boss, the further we get down, the more tanky it is. Idk what type of parties you want designed to be able to clear it -- but I can tell you now that with the server population only 1 party has ever cleared it before lol. ( Please correct me If I am wrong ) The other bosses aren't that much of an issue honestly, its just the last boss.

Decomus has a lot of 1hko skills from the boss that target other members of the party. I can tell you that without a saint, parties would die quite frequently even with full MP and MP shield on + full HP. Lol. Frecky and Gigantes are the harder ones to really deal with here.


AFAIK at least, its honestly biased to a saint healer too HAHAHAH XD The Shield helps way more than the abs from Prophet. But maybe that's with only our testings. I can tell you more details if you want lol.

But yeah I reiterate my statement from last year when Hell Mode was released that the amount of work needed to clear it, is not worth doing it lol. Only crazies wanna do it. Which is sad cause its a pretty fun dungeon, just wish it gave way more to us who are #bored

Suggestion 1: Decrease the HP of the Bosses but maintain the difficulty of their skills. Takes less time to kill them but its still hard AF.

Suggestion 2: Do not decrease the HP of the boss, but lower the % All Abs buff of Special

Suggestion 3: Instead of Hell 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Just do a Hell1 (easy) Hell2 (same as hell3) Hell 3(same level as Hell5 now). So theres less modes LOL




2) When would you update the Pet Shop to have all Rank 10 skill books sold for Moolah?

Cause seriously collecting all these books and merging them together is so tedious I wanna pull my hair out. Like I cannot even buy skill books in bulk?!? I need to click 1 by 1.

I need to merge 1 by 1.

Like why cant it have the crafting system where i can just AFK merge these shit lol. Especially since we're dealing with thousands to even reach the books at a higher level. WITH A CHANCE TO FAAAAAAIIIIL. I swear failing at Rank 9 made my heart stop for a moment. T_T



3) How exactly does the Pet HP Heal and MP heal get calculated? I have a pet whose stat on heal is 8,577 with a skill book Heal Blessing at Rank 10.

And it only heals me 2.5k per 3 seconds?


These are just stuff that I do now that Im like really downtime on the game since I have nothing to farm for lol.

    1) About hell mode its really true.. idk what need to finish it.. and it takes ages even for lvl 1. Ill better stick with my DMP gears then stay in one dungeon 4 hours after work
    2) About pet skill books.. Currenttly system not working at all.. again ages to make lvl 9 or 10 skills.. and its fail and when u tired of that - u go and buy 90 moolah it give u MAGIC BLESS AHZAHAH if someone have healer pet i can share~ and this 2k MP will SAVE u)

    Id honestly want some dungeons that dont necessarily need "Gears" so to speak, but need more team work.

    Stuff like how Manu's shatter, like Totems you need to kill like in Krorosh on DMP so boss doesnt heal. Ninjaing mobs cause they 1hko like Mumu on GTI.

    Mechanics that doesnt really need super built gears, but need more observation, reflex and just being smart with timing. Heck mechanics in Okeanos is really good too XD

    Im just tired of dungeons just being super tanky bosses, The mobs buffs and skills like the bombs/heal/reflect are way more interesting than the bosses themselves LOL.

    I got Magic Bless too and Whack and some random shit cause I wanted to get another of the Arcane....something the one with -Def LOL.

    Hell modes

    Not certain what to do with these at the moment. They are hell mode so they should be difficult but I don't want them to be a bore, and they should be rewarding. I think the fact you can get good cards is mostly fine when it comes to reward, but gear is a difficult one because of cards. You won't necessarily want the gear even if it's got more stats on it if you already have good (paid for) cards in your existing gear. And it's only well geared players that can actually do them successfully and trying to carry a few players is probably not possible, at least in hell 3-5.

    You also have the high rank pet skills books dropping in there which you can't get anywhere else.

    I'm not really sure what additional rewards I could add to make them more attractive to geared players so give me some ideas.

    I can certainly look at reducing Max HP on bosses again but I really don't want these modes to become easy like the rest of the game otherwise there really isn't much point to having them at all. They were added for the sole reason of giving players something very difficult to do. Maybe damage could go up slightly to compensate if HP comes down.

    I'm not sure that will happen but I am looking at ways to make the skill book system less of a pain.

    Combining rank 1 books was never intended to be the main way of getting high rank books, although it is an option if you are patient enough to actually do it. Originally I had planned to only sell 1 or 2 ranks on a vendor and ranks 3-10 were only going to be obtained from monster drops. The book combine thing was added as an afterthought so you could make use of duplicate books you obtained from monsters or from other players.

    Having a better system that would let you make a rank 10 out of however many ranks 1 books in one go would be great of course, but then there would be absolutely no purpose to having the combine system in the first place - may as well just sell the rank 10 on the vendor which I don't really want to do. I want there to be some effort involved in gaining rank 10.

    Maybe it's fine to just sell some of the higher ranks on the vendor and be done with it. The problem, as I see it, is that the more stuff can simply just buy from vendors, the less reason you have to go to dungeons for drops and then feel there is no point to them.

    I am thinking about options though. I wouldn't want to stand there manually combining books either - have better things to do than that. The game should not be a chore.

    It works exactly the same as character's HoT skills.

    +Heal / ticks + heal_amount_you_see_in_heal_skills_tooltip

    When heals are calculated there is some randomness added to the total +heal you (or pet) has though, which is why you always see slightly different numbers from heals, it's a +-10% change. I don't really know why it's like that to be honest with you, but it just is. It's the same with damage/defense calculations - just so you don't see the same damage or heal number over and over I suppose. I was considering removing it tbh.

    Anyway, so if your pet has 8,577 healing and it has rank 10 of Heal Blessing which heals for 500+heal every 3s for 12s:

    8577 / 4 + 500 = 2,644

    The reason it's 2.5k for you is because of that randomness on +heal that I mentioned.

    randHeal = heal * ( 90 + ( rand() % 21 ) ) / 100;

    It basically comes down to adjusting your total by + or - 10%, so it could end up being as low as 7719 +heal resulting in ticks of 2,429 or as high as 9,434 resulting in ticks of 2,858.

    We do want Hell Mode to be challenging. But as it stands, Risk vs Rewards is not worth it especially for similarly stat' armor/weapons that we already need to use in order to finish it. So its really just for that one quest of moolah and the #firstinservertobeatit that make's it enticing :D :D
