In fact, if you want to make suggestions, how about you actually explain why you are making the suggestion in the first place.

Which costumes, there are many. Why are the stats bad? For whom are they bad?

Check the events forum category. I believe there was a Cletus event today. Or did you just want everything in the game spawned for you because you are too lazy to leave Terminus and hunt bosses or dungeons?


Don't get me wrong here but I just hate it when somebody comes along and makes suggestions that make absolutely no sense. You might not speak english very well but you could at least try a bit harder or even write in your own language and let me translate it, because it would surely make more sense than these few lines.

1. So you meant to say bring back the low level PK maps like Night's Forest.
I don't see the purpose of this really. The game is very different to how it was at level 65 when Night's Forest was a PK map. The only reason we still have some low level PK maps is because of the World Bosses on them. Players trying to level up on these lower level maps do not want to be bothered by high-level players hunting them for chaos points.

2. I understand but battlefields are not designed for 1v1 and it just promotes cheating with people logging their alts to feed their main. It's already set really low at 3v3 but level 85 players don't seem that interested lately. I have done a lot to try and promote battlefield pvp in the last updates but if people are not interested to join at 85 I can't force it. I will be introducing some new quests, items and changes to existing items/prices some time soon which will hopefully help a bit.

3. You mean Riddling Glorious Ring etc.? They were removed because they contained level 85 items by mistake. I will put them back when it's fixed but I expect you want them back because of the level 85 items in them right?

4. Costumes were all given the same generic stats so that people could choose whatever look they wanted instead of being restricted by what stats they had. People complained all the time that they couldn't wear a particular costume because of the stats it had. The existing costumes have the most generic stats I could give them that would suit all classes and given extra stats (like cast time reduction or attack speed) to make them viable for all. Whilst some of those stats might be useless to some classes, they are EXTRA compared to what you got before so nobody is any worse off or better off really.

I don't particularly want to introduce even more duplicate costumes with slightly different stats because it's just too much stuff to have on the vendors but I might make some new costume sets at some point for nsDB.

5. About spawn events - don't blame the GMs for not doing them like before because I told them they are not allowed unless it's run by me first and planned. I don't want random spawn events - it should be announced on the forum with a date and time so as many players as possible can attend.

Well not everyone likes PvP and this isn't exactly a PvP oriented game. Games have a shelf life too and if it becomes boring to you maybe it's time to try something else. I try very hard to add new content and features to keep it interesting for older players but I am just one person and making new interesting content is extremely difficult and time-consuming, and I only have so much of that.

I know and very much I appreciate your work.. therefore I don't ask something new and unreal.. you are afraid that somebody of drop pvp accessories but with such battleground it will be not beaten out by anybody. can only winged of a top of guilds?? all novelties and entertainments only for them. likely you will tell that i a noob - ok.. look who will get moolah on pit event.. no winged Halfbuster (nickname) ? mail class, with wing in top guild.. to such players maybe it is good.. and can me won't killed when I will go for bronze treasure? me at once will start attacking if meet.. my knight in the 75th set isn't capable to make insignia circus, I should look for the tank in the 85th set = 2 tanks in party IDQ. lol? as a result I am the excess tanker.. I can't make even pvp a medal.. (already I wrote the reason, it new registration) and how new players? who didn't manage to buy box for 10к? I sympathize with them after all they even without bracelet, I think update 85 very needs fix

During IDQ if you are the second tank, you can help to debuff the boss. Eg use Beak Blade transformation card (buy from npc) to make the boss die faster.

I and do but I am not desired "damager" .. magicians are necessary to all and the feeling is created that physical characters are necessary only for beak.. the balance is broken

debuff owe mail classes, tanks tanking IMHO luring in set 75 it is impossible = no 15min

tanking with 75 set, u can as long u know how to do it, more hard yeah. Coz before i try it already, just need lure mobs little by little, using some pot of coz. but still u can. If u want more sure u can use CI set, it will help u alot

Impossible? I dont think so, how do you think the 1st few tanks did CI when CQ85 was just release? We get the bare minimum level 85 equips from ToA Hard. The recent buff to these low tier armor should make your life easier.

I'd take an experienced melee dps over a wiz/sorc that cant glitch or does stupid things to lure aggro.

But i have to agree ranged dps is always preferred when doing speedy runs. Perhaps some % Boss Dmg love for the melee dpser? dont know if it will make any difference but at least a significant boost to dmg if it was implemented

**Tanks got a passive that gives boss dmg and both wiz & sorc have it on one of their casting skill (might be wrong, lazy to check atm)

in principle these dungeons are necessary for quests what it is simple to change clothes with 75 in 85 so to what such difficulties? why the ordinary player has to entreat winged players? moreover and to receive proud refusal

I like local administration and this game but nothing is ideal..

You can't expect to do the harder level 85 dungeons in 75 gears - you need to get the basic 85 gear first of which there are plenty of options. The problem is (in my opinion), players all want to rush to 85 and expect to be equal with players that have been here for a long time and worked on their items and spent money to put the best cards, and know how to actually play their character.

I realise there is a gap between the average melee character and the ranged classes when it comes to dungeons but tbh it's like that in most games with high-end content. People usually tend to prefer a group full of ranged because it's easier to keep them alive and the additional boss damage the casters in this game have doesn't help the matter either.
I have discussed this recently with several players and I'm still deciding what I will do to try and fix this. I'm not sure I want to just give additional boss damage skills to melee though.

Suggestions are always welcome here and I always take them seriously if they are well thought out and explained properly. You only need to look through the suggestions forum to see a lot of them were accepted and introduced into the game.

As I said before, I don't see the point of making more low level PK maps. All that will do is piss off players trying to level. They are in no position to defend themselves against the torrent of high-level players that will hunt them.

Battlefields. I guess I can lower the requirement to 2v2, but not 1v1. They were not designed to be played 1v1 and it will just promote cheating to get points. I am also looking into ways to fix the 85 battlefields because at the moment there is too much of a difference between new level 85 players and the old, forcing people to camp lower brackets. Whilst camping is fine, most new players don't expect to have to do this so they get a massive shock when they first enter level 85 battlefields and get completely owned. I expect the majority of players wouldn't even bother with battlefield after experiencing that which is why there aren't many 85 battlefields these days.

I might look into adding a gear score system to Iris to try and match up better battlefield teams because at the moment it's completely random so you might end up with several healers on one side, or a whole team of winged players etc. etc.

pk of low level would cause more interest to the help of friends and getting of really good armor. it is simple to beat mobs boringly, and with a magic tower it is possible not to leave at all terminus

initially you don't do costume for a good choice, all went with costume on attack and set all stat pyron - game no cute. you remove location pvp for tranquillity but in too time you add pvp event for winged in top guilds, lol) you don't want to do mobs simpler for receiving the 85th armor but where complexity except disbalance? magic tower - easy exp. game rolled down to primitive "achievements" which simply not to put anywhere. there are no movements, all simply sit, some stand days on the same place (YukiAoi megaafker)

I expected closing of the russian server, after a while him removed away from a manager games of mail.ru and then I understood precisely that to the server the end and I passed here three years ago (quite big term) when russian gamer was very little, I don't want it again.. Can be done in L75 armor. We did it when IDQ first came out.

But I've seen people hitting 85 and not even bothering to card or enhance their gear. And others even if they have gear they use wrong skills. Of course they will fail.

this has been an interesting read LOL, BF for lvl85 does start but its only on weekend cause no one is online, and that sad answer for yes lvl74 BF being active is everyone just makes campers since its much much much easier to kill in 74 BF, then it is in 85, like just the other day i saw a lvl85 windwalker HP pot himself out of an assault of 4 people attacking him, 2 of which were me using my all stat VI crusader and a friend using his all stat VI SS .

but in lvl74 BF winged players (with decent skill) will own your ass 9/10 times lol its the way of life, and as for pvp maps i think the pvps are fine the way they are most world bosses are in pvp maps which is great NFS has many quests in it so 74 PVP is fun .

and as for the (FUN SERVER) it could be fun if people actually played and not just sat in town lol or farming 24/7. and unfortunately the current gms are busy with real life which is perfectly fine and the 2 current gms they are active from time to time, if anything getting a gm to be online who can just liven the place up a bit, doing fun events even if its not for prizes or FAMOUS bosses but just for fun, like how you get fame points for killing bosses now, why not do a spawn event designed to gain fame points or an event where you gain fame points. but in general the server has it moments of being fun just need to keep your eyes open for them, cause sedy and gala have lives too so they cant be on 24/7.

This gave me an interesting topic to research. Went around googling how other games/mmo balance their melee vs range combat, thought i share an interesting view by a player from GW2.

No one will ever “balance” ranged vs. melee because balance is impossible.
Situation:
1) Make Ranged and Melee be comparatively the same
2) Everyone plays range because it’s easier and safer
3) Increase melee damage to get people to go melee
4) Everyone complains that they are forced into melee to be competitive
5) Give ranged class utility/mobility to make up for lower dps
6) Melee complain that they can’t catch ranged
7) Give melee players utility to catch ranged players
8) Ranged complaining they do less damage and can’t run from melee
9) Lower melee damage, effectively making melee and ranged the same again
10) Repeat ad infinum
You can’t balance it.
