i dont know how attack speed works...

it looks like in some "LOL" format ish?

i changed my speed movement to attack speed [(+10) 10.00% feet ] on a char but it didn't change on the char stats.
But when i use the dog transformation ( 20.00%) it did. :O

I'm going to look into the attack speed thing today. I think it's just a glitch with the display of the numbers - I probably need to add some more checks to get the proper total because it's also showing a reduced number if you go above the cap, even though your actual attack speed isn't getting reduced - it's just a display error.

Ok problem found. You can actually get up to 1.99 Attack Speed before the cap kicks in but for some reason it's capping it back down to 1.90 which doesn't make any sense at all. If the cap is supposed to be 1.90 then it should kick in if it goes to 1.91 or above, not 1.99.

Since it's been at 1.99 all this time I'm going to just set the cap at the nice round figure of 2.00 and be done with it.

Attack Speed is exactly what it says, it increases your attack speed by speeding up the animations your character does when it performs one of it's skills, this is why it's useful to casters as well as melee classes.

Without any items that give Attack Speed your character usually has 1.00 attack speed. You can think of it as x1 speed.
If you wear an item that gives 10% Attack Speed, it will increase to 1.10.
Adding a total of 100% Attack Speed will make it 2.00 (x2) meaning your attacks speed will be doubled. You can't go any higher than this, it's capped at 2.00 (or will be when I update, it's currently 1.90/1.99 as I mentioned in my earlier post).
