There are people who work on this almost 24/7, so you can get a good service and more content and updates. Added to that are all the expenses to keep this server up and running and at a good quality, which isn't cheap. This is a free server to play, nobody is required to donate, and apart from donations there are many ways to get moolah simply by trading them in game with others. For items that you might have found in game, for tears that you get for free by voting every 12 hours and by just being online, and for gold which you can earn simply by playing, farming, doing quests, trading with players etc.

You can see many people having titles in game, and not everybody donates. We are thankful for the ones that do because it keeps the server up and running, and we are also thankful for the people who aren't donating, and enjoy playing on our server for free, deciding to earn their titles and moolah through all the ways I've mentioned before.

I've played in private servers myself and nowhere was it so easy to get everything. It's usually tokens that you can't trade with others, and much more pricey than this. And it you remember the Iris retail prices, or if you've played any other f2p games, you know this is nothing.

Like I said, if you don't want to or can't donate, nobody forces you to. It's only for people who have the means and want to get something for themselves faster, and they are able to trade moolah with everyone else that farms and uses all the ways there are out there to get their own moolah with in-game cash from them. Keeps the server up and the server economy going.

Also, if someone doesn't want to get the most expensive one, there are always the lesser ones to get, which are only a few percent away from the big one. People that have done more effort to farm for the big one, deserve the big one and they get it.

Anyway, don't get me wrong, I understand where you're coming from. But I always was one of the people who farmed a lot and tried hard to get their stuff, and I'm also one of the people that can actually see what kind of work and expenses this thing has. So when you consider the prices please consider the things I've said as well.
