So much disagree. Certain items should not be tradable. Glaceon armor for instance. Special weapons like Namazu and Frigid weapons. Things like enhanced lisk stuff. These items should be EARNED and make you feel like you did something to get them. not just handed out cause you know a guy who knows a guy who slept with a guy.

ok i see ur point not really (i just realize ur a zealot) but 85 cq gear used to be same way ...now u can buy it... but still cant trade it and so many mounts i dont care to discuss this with u...point is if u earned it you should be able to transfer to someone else. if you buy it? cant trade it? if i spend X amount of money on X item i dont care who u are where you are from if you dont understand that i bought it its mine can do with it as i wish concept i cant help u...dont even get me started on the potions not usable in bf thing

i disagree with author. some things should not be tradable for their safety too.
if it wouldn't, scamers and hackers would be like ayy lmao and go steal ur stuff for sale or next use. like if someday you'll found your chars fully robbed, all thanks to these gentlemen of fortune.
if majority of my items haven't been untradable around 3-4 years ago, my char would have been naked like playboy model, but all what hacker have stole were tears, money and some non-crucial tradable items. thanks god there was no moolah at these times, only scrub tears (achtung, oldfag in thread)

It's the NPC on the front page, the one with the blue bikini. I honestly don't know of any women with nipples that high up on their breasts so I don't know what the OP has been looking at xD. It's supposed to be lighting/reflection but I guess it does kinda look like nips at first glance lol.

I don't disagree with you entirely about items being freely tradable. If I was totally against it, I would never have made so many items tradable already compared to how it was on retail. Not only did I make more items tradable, I also reduced the amount of seals required by a lot, and in some cases completely removed the seal requirement.

Just because it's a private server doesn't mean it should be a massive free for all - those types of server that give you absolutely everything on a platter don't usually last 5 minutes, let alone 5 years.

I'm not going to go into how I decide if something is tradable or not here because it would end up being a wall and I believe most of it is pretty obvious and standard in this type of game, but if there is something specific that you feel should be tradable, just ask and I will give an honest answer.

if someone has fullallstat 30 in gear its kinda hard to let that gear go... especially if it can be used for another quest or char,.

it was bought and paid for this to me should be tradable allstats are tradable just cant take and re-purpose them for other gear once they are set in the gear.now u have alot donators walking around trying sell complete costumes full allstat 30 andnone buys them.

over time i have accumulated alot of things..mounts included...i found my fav mount i use itall the time.
the other mounts are wasting space in my inv ..dont want to delete them they have nostagia but yet they arent being used at all and taking up space.. if i could give to a new guy or something that would be awesome.
but icant its untradable.

suggestion.... if moot... make an npc that trades you stuff in for u for fraction of what u paid for or something

and it wont hurt the economy any worse than it is...people who can repurpose their cards etc will lvl up and want to get those nice shiny things in gift shop to put them in

what happens is you get lvl 0-74 campers none of which can do batlefield because noone join minus lvl 85 because they spent alot of money on gear and dont want to loose it.....so they camp to keep thier gear

Equip cards are like enhancements - once they are used they are used, it's not even possible to remove them. Retail had an item that could be used to remove them but that cost more real cash if I remember correctly - doesn't work here anyway. I could probably code it but to be honest, I really wouldn't want to, because cards are the main source of donation income. I already massively reduced that income by allowing you to trade in other cards to get All Stats and making them drop everywhere, and introducing other cards, so allowing you to remove and reuse/trade them just isn't going to happen. It wouldn't hurt the economy, it would completely destroy it, because there would probably be no server to speak of, it would close down due to lack of funds to keep it running.

Your idea about selling things back to an NPC for a fraction of the cost isn't a bad one. I already did this to some extent with Scrub's Tear costumes that you can decompose at Barecalf and get some tears back - I guess it could be done with moolah costumes and possibly even mounts, so you could at least get something back instead of it sitting in your inventory. I will think on that one.
