What if people DC during BF? We can't always control our internet (I know I can't),

Also I hate leaving BF just as much as the next person but on my 74 camper if I'm in a party with 2 people that have 9k hp, there is no way I'm staying, whats the point is wasting your time with people that join wont make an effort to try make themselves better, effort is a 2 way thing, to put effort into BF you first need to see your team is doing the same and people with 9k - 15k are not putting any effort into helping their teams so why should I?

Sometimes ya know, there is a time wherein you are really fighting a losing battle, that it is actually better to just log out and save your buffs than waste 15 mins of your life in a match that you know you are gonna lose.

Case Basis lvl 75 Flag Match: 2 new people in one team vs 3 more experienced ones~ I know I'll quit if I was just a newbie and Im just being food there -- plus the mere fact that you never get points unless you have 2 flags up in FM, yeah. No point right? Lol.

As for the penalty, people do DC, and it aint their fault. Plus if it aint that known yet, the original BF penalty is debuffable by using a Niria trans. So no matter if its like 1hr or 24 hour, it'd poof

Marron, sometimes in BF people join as trolls, they make weak characters to annoy other teammates, I can list a few of them, it's my time to waste so I'd rather put that to use than waste time on troll teammates. If I'm in BF with other campers then I'd stay but thats not always the case, I know everyone isn't strong or has the money to make their characters better but If I knew my character would burden my team, I wouldn't join but that's just how I am. BF is fun but its not worth getting frustrated over because of people who put no effort to be helpful or even a team player, people who don't listen but you'll probably say something like "Maybe they don't speak English" but that's not my fault and it's not theirs, it's just how things are, it's how BF is and will always be

If you have a teammate who doesnt have enough equipment yet, point is, The other team would spam kill that team mate of yours up to the point that he gets to be the leader in a DM Match and get 5 points ahead from the other team. I've seen it happen.

And actually, the essence of having the battlefields DM/FM is for your to gain points. So mainly, you join to win. not to lose. I myself won't stay in a match and waste food/buffs if in one clash everyone in my team dies.

It's true they won't stay because of the foods since they can only be obtained via GM

Niria trans in SV i believe, its the 3rd skill thats like clear all debuffs. In retail it worked on the old BF penalty lol

@Ray if u used food and ure scared to lose it, then u shouldnt go to BF bcs after ure died in there =) its already gone.

zzz. I'll tell you my points.

1) The reason why people camp in lvl 60's and 74's battlefield, is so that they can actually be able to fight back since not all in those levels are overpowered. it's pretty much beating your opponent's battle tactics to win.
2) Who doesn't want a strong team? You? nah.
3) Ive earned all of my equips in game through hardwork, so excuse me, but you're not in the right shoes to tell me that i didnt work enough for it. and guess what, I didnt need to spend a lot of money or "$" to earn it.
4) i rarely quit a match. depends if the team really do suck. Oh yeah I'm proud. facing a bunch of serks and mercs all at once.

And I just wanna clarify something. That RayDarkwolf guy that you were talking to? He rarely dies. k.ty.

I wont lie... I will leave battlefield if I know my team can't win. No point in wasting my time/foods if I'm not going to get many points from it.

Point made is that BF does have penalty but I'm not even sure how long that penalty is, since i rarely join and i don't ever leave matches. But either way there are BF farmers who goes and DO NOTHING in a match....and if you win they get points. What is the whole point of that? You fight against the other team and your team just sits for the win. So, yes I would leave a match because of that. I would leave also if the other side had majority healers or zerks/glads/mercs against me and my side.

In general it depends on the person who goes into DM/FM. If they chose to leave then fine, penalty. If they D/C then penalty. If they afk and do nothing in match penalty. All things in a match should be looked at.

First of all, I have been very neutral in my points with you, you asshole. Show some respect. *rolls eyes* Accusing me of such things is obviously a sign of trying to fight in this argument when you have no grounds to call what so ever. *huff*

Secondly, I have never left a match, and if I have my iris crashed. Actually if im not mistaken the most recent one happened 3 days ago, once, and mind you my team still won.

Third. I use the available resources, only an ignorant wouldnt know how is on the other side. Why? Because we have a "Who's Online" list. When you go in the BF maps -- load that list, you will see who exactly are with you there. Obviously you have to deduce who your team mates are and who are in the other team? Im sure even you can do that.

Fourth, the concept of FOOD WASTED is not focused on me dying and losing it. Its the mere fact that if I am waiting around in base for NOTHING while my food buffs are ticking, then its pointless. As for "sitting around termi"; thats my own accord and not in anyway related to my point. If I wanted to save food I log out every time BF ends, log in when countdown starts. Its not my fault you cannot understand that simple fact.

Fifth, since i do not want to be total "flamer" here for being uptight about your reply to me == I still do not find a point in this --- quitting thing. Like i know you want some sort of punishment, but do think of the others who have bad internet issues, or just because the game itself wanted to crash on you; then you have -- what, an hour of not being able to play BF? Whats the fun in that? What if that hour is the only time you have for Iris and you cant farm your BF points? Pfft.

On topic, It's not fair to give someone a penalty for DCing, yeah you can't tell if they DC or log out but it's not always a choice when you DC.
Some of you are saying it is our own fault if we DC but what if we have a powercut on the street, that's our fault? No it isn't and it's not fair to punish those for that. BF is fun and at times it can be frustrating but you should be able to choose if you want to stay or leave, instead of giving them like a Time penalty to wait til they can join again, can't you create a debuff that means they get like -5% BF Points for how ever long? Isn't there a way to do that? If you can give us a buff that increases BF Points, surely there must be a way to decrease it.

@Jeff 1. to strike back u doesnt need that BF equi so pretty much =) u can do it with other things also
2. Everyone likes an strong team but just cowards run away 20 sec after the first 2 mates died.

and DC i told its something different =) at least i dont want an penalt for this, but i think u cant seperate that. So i prefer an Penalt for every sort of leaving the Battlefield before nothing happened and the ppl are same pissed if they cant win

Haha you really should stop calling people weak that you don't even know, I am weak because I am LEARNING the class, that's up to them if they wanna leave just like me choosing to leave coz of other people. I guess if you were a better healer people would be more likely to stay since when I did BF on my Priest, I never experienced people leaving BF but thats 75 BF and not 74, people are more laid back in 75 BF since at 74 people are more likely farming BF Points then.

Over all Yes I'm weak, yes people probably do leave BF because I'm still learning my character but people probably leave BF because of you too & yes I leave BF when I have to since I join for a fun match and the only reason I know someone in the team doesn't give 100% of their effort is after a few matches with them and noticing they aren't even trying to help the team, it's not like I just joined and its the first match with the person,

If I knew my character would burden my team, I wouldn't join hence why I collect all the gears and cards she needs before even thinking about joining,

didn't read most f everything but i gather some people take one look at a team and decide wheather they're usefull or not well here's a thought not everyone plays the same way as you and some people may actually be more skilled than you for instance despite me winning around 90% of my deathmatches at my level range (20) i still almost never win flag, but even when i know i won't win like 2v1 flag i stil don't leave early cause i can still get SOME points which is inarguably better than nothing

Well, how about putting a cap on deaths? like if a certain player reaches like... 5 deaths, the opposing team won't gain a point for it anymore. And most likely they'll switch targets.
