Secondly, I have never left a match, and if I have my iris crashed. Actually if im not mistaken the most recent one happened 3 days ago, once, and mind you my team still won.

Third. I use the available resources, only an ignorant wouldnt know how is on the other side. Why? Because we have a "Who's Online" list. When you go in the BF maps -- load that list, you will see who exactly are with you there. Obviously you have to deduce who your team mates are and who are in the other team? Im sure even you can do that.

Fourth, the concept of FOOD WASTED is not focused on me dying and losing it. Its the mere fact that if I am waiting around in base for NOTHING while my food buffs are ticking, then its pointless. As for "sitting around termi"; thats my own accord and not in anyway related to my point. If I wanted to save food I log out every time BF ends, log in when countdown starts. Its not my fault you cannot understand that simple fact.

Fifth, since i do not want to be total "flamer" here for being uptight about your reply to me == I still do not find a point in this --- quitting thing. Like i know you want some sort of punishment, but do think of the others who have bad internet issues, or just because the game itself wanted to crash on you; then you have -- what, an hour of not being able to play BF? Whats the fun in that? What if that hour is the only time you have for Iris and you cant farm your BF points? Pfft.

On topic, It's not fair to give someone a penalty for DCing, yeah you can't tell if they DC or log out but it's not always a choice when you DC.
Some of you are saying it is our own fault if we DC but what if we have a powercut on the street, that's our fault? No it isn't and it's not fair to punish those for that. BF is fun and at times it can be frustrating but you should be able to choose if you want to stay or leave, instead of giving them like a Time penalty to wait til they can join again, can't you create a debuff that means they get like -5% BF Points for how ever long? Isn't there a way to do that? If you can give us a buff that increases BF Points, surely there must be a way to decrease it.

@Jeff 1. to strike back u doesnt need that BF equi so pretty much =) u can do it with other things also

I guess if you were a better healer people would be more likely to stay since when I did BF on my Priest, I never experienced people leaving BF but thats 75 BF and not 74, people are more laid back in 75 BF since at 74 people are more likely farming BF Points then.

Over all Yes I'm weak, yes people probably do leave BF because I'm still learning my character but people probably leave BF because of you too & yes I leave BF when I have to since I join for a fun match and the only reason I know someone in the team doesn't give 100% of their effort is after a few matches with them and noticing they aren't even trying to help the team, it's not like I just joined and its the first match with the person,

If I knew my character would burden my team, I wouldn't join hence why I collect all the gears and cards she needs before even thinking about joining,

didn't read most f everything but i gather some people take one look at a team and decide wheather they're usefull or not well here's a thought not everyone plays the same way as you and some people may actually be more skilled than you for instance despite me winning around 90% of my deathmatches at my level range (20) i still almost never win flag, but even when i know i won't win like 2v1 flag i stil don't leave early cause i can still get SOME points which is inarguably better than nothing

Well, how about putting a cap on deaths? like if a certain player reaches like... 5 deaths, the opposing team won't gain a point for it anymore. And most likely they'll switch targets.

Btw the btf debuff can be removed with a neil card if you wanna talk about fairness i'd make the wings only for lvl 75, because they do make a lot of difference, specially on the lvl 74 farmers :P

Depending on how good you are of a healer you'll stay especially if you have other's with you. If I was one sage against two zerks my ass is leaving the match. I know I lose and I'll just have been some rag doll to be thrown around with two zerks using itd moves on me.

And yes a lot of fillipino players either use internet cafes or their own home internet and frankly from what I seen from my time on here it's a very unstable connection. So yes they will DC here and there and I don't blame them.

The main annoyance of bf is the damn AFKers or the ones who go in and purposely lose during the match to help a friend out.

And yes please don't call people weak it's very rude to them. Like I said before food is scarce to some players who aren't on when me and Sunrise do events so the people who get a little bit don't like dying in less than 2 minutes and losing those precious stats they get from the food.

There are people who know players analyze the match and the people and know the outcome and know they will lose and some will just leave the match or stay and give them hell while they lose the match.

In my opinion, the worse is that sometimes some players leave just when they see that they will have to work for a win. Some players want all easy mode and at the minimum signal of a fight they leave... the problem is that their team will end up losing when they could win if the person wouldn't leave in the first place.

I already stated this in the suggestions, don't remember when and i'm sorry if i offend some players but i don't think people with 15k HP should be able to join btf (lvl 75 bracket) when they are pretty much 1hitted by any class (except healers). And we all examine some players on those 120secs waiting... and we see lvl 75 players with lvl 2 cards on their gear... and I'm sorry but that shows no respect at all for all the other team mates!
Lvl2 cards shows "i'm here to be carried by my team mates". I understand not everybody has $ to buy moolah and be OP, but lets face it, with work anyone can be OP... everything OP can be obtained with ingame money, you just need to farm and work for it... and well, not expect to get gear from one day to another. It costs time to gear up a char if you dont want to spend real $, so yes i would put a minimum HP requirement on the lvl 75 btf. At least 40k or 50k. Because that will be pretty much a lvl75 lisk armor with some IV or V cards on it. And you dont need to be a donator for that.

And lets not call people of weak. Some people are playing classes in NS that they didnt played in retail and they're learning how to use them. Also a lot of players dont understand you can actually win a FM without killing anyone...

Just my opinion, i dont agree with a debuff or a deduction of btf points. For example, i have 2 babies and i only play at night time... and if one of them wakes up and im in the middle of a btf i will logout without thinking twice (i usually just say i have to go cuz baby woke up lol also happens in dungeons!) not gonna let my daughter or my son cry because of a game. We all have our priorities and we all have unexpected situations, im not even gonna go on those players whose connection is crap and keep dcing...

I totally agree with Happiny, at level 50 you can have 15k HP so I don't see how a 74-75 can have 9-15k HP its insane. I think putting a HP limit would be better maybe do like a poll to decide what those limits could be.

I always have to tell people that in FM "you get flags not kill people" and we usually end up losing because people chase the other team around the map, that's just as bad as AFKing and logging out put together, I mean yeah you are keeping a member busy but so are they.

Yep I do troll a lot, but there is 1 thing I can do better than you. Not whining about going DM FM and face a bunch of Winged players on the other side. It is annoying because you see people go DM FM and just sit? You are just gonna make excuses as long you lose anyway. Winged, weak team, afk, sitting ppl? Wats next? bring back the penalty for leaving DM/FM. dont join if your afraid to die or loose your food or watever getting dc in DM/FM? too bad you have a crappy connection. so dont join for now. simple .

DC are something else and can happen, that normal i guess, so i dont punish ppl for an DC but if u cant seperate that from the leave penalt and the ppl that left for no reason, then its bad but yeah, then it happened like that

I would enjoy an penalt like:

5 hours not able to join ( bcs 1 hour doesnt hurt, u can make dailies or go afk and farm tears in that time )
or losing battlefield points after leaving =)

You cant separate a dc for bad connection from a forced logout. You can always remove the network cable and there you go! There's no actual way of a game has implemented a check to know if you're connection is crap or if your electricity went down or if you're just a force logger... (sadly)

What most mmo's have is a protection to prevent the abuse of force loggers, and that is your char/account stays logged in for like 3mins even though you're not physically connected anymore. Anyways, again it doesnt always works as im sure all of us already tried to login after a dc and have to wait for the char be actually kicked out of the server...

I figured i would put my opinion here so here it goes:

i use a WL for FM/DM and i regularly go against OP zerks and mercs but i never quit even if i don't stand a chance. I don't think any penalty would make a difference since it is only a temporary thing and when the penalty is over there is nothing stopping them from doing it again. If you ask me this whole argument is invalid and pointless. Am sure that if there was a way Sedy could fix this then he would have done it by now.
