Now see I know people who have these mounts (and the wings for BF as well) due to the fact there was not alternative for 100% move speed. While i DON'T like the fact that they get turned into moolah mounts. i get why people don't want to waist points on the mount. and people want instant cast instead of 1 second cast time.

As a side note i DO think that because they are BF mounts and because they look armored. i would LIKE to see one thing on the PVP version a 10% damage abs while mounted. But that's for another subject. But people actually do get these as the "next best" option same with the wings

(I still think there should be a PVP 4 part costume with PVP damage abs and damage dealt boost)

Was uber excited to see another players opinion! :3 I understand this and also see people who get these mounts, as I stated there are exceptions to what I said above ^^ my suggestion was simply based on observation that they are underused mounts for how well-designed they are, and I would love to see them become more common as an option obtainable in other methods and with a variety of stats. I completely respect the people who save for the 1s 100% pvp mounts, and their ability to do so would remain unchanged either way, the only change would be the exclusiveness of their design. (btw loves idea of 4 part pvp costume *_*)

I think tbh we should make the battlefield mounts 0s cast like the moolah mounts. The only reason I made them 1s cast when I released them was because I *was* (don't shit your pants guys, I said *was* :P) going to change the moolah mounts to have a 1s cast but in the end I realised it wouldn't be very fair to everyone that paid real money for something to have it drastically changed, and even though it's 1s, it really would make a huge difference to how these mounts are used (in a good way imo but I very much doubt many players that own moolah mounts would agree with me on that).

Not sure about that 10% damage absorb whilst mounted. As I said before, the effects we had on bf mounts before were abused left right and center and this would be no different. I think the mounts are already doing the job they are designed for which is movement speed increase and if I do make them instant cast too, they will be even better

Maybe having instant cast would make people go BF more to farm points for it. Though I'm not sure if that would cause less people to buy the moolah ones xD

I’m in favor of the cast change to pvp mounts it sounds like an effective way to raise interest in saving points for them, and pvp itself ^u^ however I would still be tickled to see them offered as a moolah (or tear) mount as well for the strictly pve players, or people who simply prefer using moolah, tying back to the original suggestion. It could swing the other way too I suppose of adding more selection for the pvp mounts if they become equally stated. Since at that point it becomes just a cosmetic choice(in my opinion o.o). I really do appreciate the time and thought people have put into the replies here, it’s cool to see a suggestion get looked into and peoples views.

I'm in favor of this as well. very much so in favor of this instant cast please.


And to go about what Rosa said... Sedy is there a way to take way stuff from the mount? Like... i don't know remove the armor parts?


IE. The Moolah and Tear versions have a saddle with no armor while the PVP version have armor just as a kinda... feature sorta deal?

Not really possible I'm afraid since we don't have the original source files of the mount models. The only thing we can do is recolor them, not add or remove stuff - not easily anyway.

Was all for armor removal but seeing that is a bit out of the question, what about a feature tradeoff where the pvp vendor maintains all 3 colors of each and the other vendor(s) get the lowest version color? (brown lycan, blue stalker, blue saberwolf and red boar) so that there is no need for anyone to fuss with editing and the is still a superior selection from the original vendor, while there is the basic mount as a choice in other places.

That wouldn't be all to fair when you consider how many of the other versions of a mount there is already. Brown black purple cats. the MASSIVE numbers of Nightmares and horses. the Bobble horses. Bikes. etc etc etc. WHen sedy gets me the textures i'm gonna work on something nice for moolah versions which will be basicly i want to try to turn the armor gold and or bronze. (Also i want to see a black jurassic stalker)

Oh sorry o.o I misunderstood and thought you were talking about it in a different way like keep a better selection pvp exclusive. But *-* sounds cool! Curious how u edit them o: and would black be able to keep its more delicate details like all the wrinkles around nose and neck visible? (Jurassic is my favorite and loves the idea) Sorry x3 get curious about design stuffies

i personally have 2 bf mounts and love them.. but after i bought my first moolah mount they sit unused so sad would be nice if they were tradable so could sell to players with no permanent mount (all those bf points i spent on them and they just sit ....i also think the kitty and horse stats should be raised from circus and lahoia..

im also unhappy how i spent alot bf points on cape when it was like 3 or 400k bf points then new capes came out with better stats and same price as what i paid for one i got with lower stats while price of mine dropped.

That is the way the real world works, when new stuff are released old usually come better and old ones get cheaper ... Its like saying "i dont like that a new phone was released and i have the old one" ... It just doesn't work that way

And I would like bring attention back to the original post, it was not about "unfair" new costumes, or making moolah mounts tradable or changing the colors

haha so true .. but this isnt real world this is iris ... and there is a big difference between cellphone and a mount that takes sometimes months to obtain ( cape and titles included) not to mention the hours put into the game to obtain these items. people that work dont have as much time as some to sit on iris all day.

There are new colors coming out in the mounts. Sedy did just release the Golden Nightmare, Pastel Pegasus, and Blackened Snow Bear. It's not that easy to just *poof* change the colors on a mount.

I just still wish there could have been some compensation for those who bought Moolah mounts when they were 50 moolah then dropped to 30 or when there was only an option of 3 and then a ton were released.

and as i said i agree with OP and also think circus and lahoia mounts stats should be raised .. but i dont think the mounts should have to be bought with moolah to obtain increase in stats bf points are harder to get than moolah.. i think stats should just be raised for all the mounts period let them stay where they are and make them tradable lol.
