I noticed we have only around 220 votes on Gtop100 and ExtremeTop100 sites. A simple calculation shows we're going to MAYBE get a day or two of double tears on the other sites, if at all.
At the same time, I see more than 2000 votes on the other voting sites (the ones that give off the tears). If those sites also zero their votes every 1st of the month, it means most people who vote on those sites don't vote on Gtop100 and ExtremeTop100.
I think people missed the notice about "Mission for February", and don't realize there might be a chance to double their daily tears. A few people I talked to (in game) didn't even realise they can vote for tears, but lots of people who knew about that didn't realize there's a special mission going on.
It might be a good idea to advertise the mission in game, to let people know.
Come on, guys, there's still time to give this server and the game the votes they deserve!
And to give us, players, the extra tears WE deserve, of course

I doubt announcing it would make much difference. People are too lazy and shortsighted to do something for no instant return these days.
However, I have added Gtop100 as a proper vote now that will get you 10 Scrub's Tears every 12 hours.
Voting missions are finished for good now. -

Is it possible to make an announcement of the mission in the game? The problem is, if the mission fails too often people might not bother anymore to vote on the sites that don't give tears.
I don't think people are being lazy. I think most people don't read the top part of the voting page, because it doesn't change often, and they could have missed it. Especially people who don't read English very fluently.
Which makes me think, maybe, when the missions are on, you should highlight it in some way, maybe put a yellow star next to the mission title, and make the title in color. Anything that might draw people's attention.
I'll also try to tell people I know in the game, and maybe others can do the same, but an in-game announcement will be more effective, I think.
Hopefully, we can still save this mission! -
