how do i get a pet? and can i get one in particular? thank you for advice.

If you want a particular pet, go kill the monster of the same type and collect 3 DNA as Spunny mentioned. You will get a random quality pet by doing that up to Epic quality but if you want guaranteed epic quality you can buy a DNA Booster from the shop.

You can also get specific pets during events like Easter, Halloween and Christmas by collecting summoning pieces.

There are also a few pets on the battlefield exchange vendor, but it would take a while to get those.

1) Mush quest at logging area for a mush pet
2) summoning scrolls from random mobs to get random pet of same rarity as the scroll, so far I have only seen up to 'uncommon'
3) summoning scrolls from daily gift to get random pet of same rarity as the scroll, so far I have only seen up to 'rare'
4) collect 3 (of the same) dna + buy splicing paper and make a pet of that type (random rarity, up to epic)
5) buy from moolah shop - random epic scroll
6) buy from moolah shop - particular pet of moolah quality
