So like, it's been a while and we've adapted to this new battlefield regiment, i mean the schedule. But... as HUGE of a PVPer as i am... i've grown bored now. All i see is death match, FM x 2 with CTF and then the BoA... so i started thinking is there a way to step things up and make something different and i suddenly had a small idea... now i will flat out admit i LOVE the CtF map... but i suddenly had this idea about a way to make things a bit more interesting using the map... so i'd like to suggest three POSSIBLE ideas for battlefield... to spice things up and maybe give the players a bit of extra content...

The first is using the CTF map... Now this idea came from me playing Minecraft, more importantly a PVP server called Mineplex, In mineplex there is a game called Castle siege. Castle seige is a fun little minigame where there is a team of undead players a team of defenders. the undead have to seige the castle and kill the king to win, But only have 10 minutes. the defenders have to well stop them... Well taking this and turning it towards iris... what if this was doable in PVP on Iris? The idea i had was if there was a way, have a boss monster, simlar to Athelon, spawn on one side of the map, the "light" side. The defender side. This monster doesn't attack the team on that side. The other team must kill this boss within a time limit like most BFs go while the defenders fight off the team from killing said boss. If defenders get x ammount of kills or time is up without the boss dieing. that team wins. If attackers kill the boss or x ammount of kills, then attackers win... I think it might be a bit more interesting to play...

The second one comes from a game in MANY online games called Domination. In domination there is three "points" and it's merely who can stand on the spot, let a gauge fill, take the spot as "theirs" The idea is using a map i would LOVE to see used more often, Molten arena. Change the middle into another structure like the sides. The idea is each side and area have a capture point. The longer a team member stays there the faster the catpure point is taken for their team. Since there is three points it can go like this

Red vs Blue. Have more points for capturing areas than the other team. An easy way to base this off of would be The Assassin creed 3 system. A gauge that shows blue on one side, red on the other. When it starts the gauge is 50/50. If red caputres but blue doesn't red starts pushing the bar closer to blue. Vice Versa if blue captures and red doesn't. one team holding all three points means that team gets points and pushes the gauge closer to the other team a LOT faster. the game ends when either the time runs out and one team has more points, AKA the gauge bar is closer to the other team, OR the team captures and holds the points long enough to push the bar ALL the way to the other team's color. And... finally i think this would push things a bit more than the others but what if there was a battlefield that wasn't so much... PVP as it was PVE ish? What if there was a match where both teams spawn on different sides and there was bosses int he middle. and the team that gets the final hit on the bosses get a point. first to i don't know... 15 maybe, points win the match, or whoevever has the most points at the end. Alternatively other team could attack each other to distract but points only are gained from boss kills...

Again i only suggest these three because well... i might be the only one but PVP has gotten stale again in my opinion and i'd like to see something... different...

    Yeh I would love to create a domination style battlefield and it's actually how I wanted BoA to be but it's difficult to create the mechanics required for it, or at least it was when I made it back then. I'm really busy making a new dungeon and public dungeon/map at the moment but afterwards I plan to create a new battlefield using the Molten Arena map - not sure what type of battlefield it will be at the moment though.
