I want to find out what you think about...

increasing the battlefield timers from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes, meaning 2 battlefields per hour instead of the current 3 per hour.

Why?
Maybe if they started less often, more people would join each time, bringing back the old feel of battlefields instead of 2v2 if it even starts. I just think they are too frequent.
I would of course look at increasing the amount of points gained from each so you wouldn't lose out on point gain.

If this was to happen, it would probably be Flagmatch and Deathmatch every 30 minutes and CTF and BoA less frequently, say every 3 hours, but for much more points.

Feel free to post your thoughts on this or any suggestions.

Reduce the battlefields to 2 per hour but for more points?

It isn't like you can accumulate more people for the battlefield if you extend the gap. The number of people you have on the battlefields is the number of people who want to join. No more, no less. This server doesn't have many people to begin with, let alone those of a particular level range.

20 minute gap is there for a reason - enable one to play one battlefield after another. If one joins, they usually join for a series of battles, so, adding extra 10 minutes only means adding more needless waiting time.

CTF and BoA are not very different from FM and DM to begin with, and yet they give more points already. I see no need to make them stand out any more. Also, dm-fm-dm-fm-dm is quite a dull pattern, don't you think?

IMHO: This problem isn't a problem at all, because low numbers open more freedom for tactical approach, especially on CTF maps, while "raid vs raid", when it happens, usually, if not always, is just a chaos. "old" != "better"

If your goal is to make battlefields more appealing and interesting, I suggest you do something about team balance. I noticed it isn't random (same people joining = same teams), yet it is needless to say it's insane. Unbalanced teams discourage not only those new to battlegrounds, but well-equipped players as well.

My suggestions on this one are:
    1) Make it totally random
    or
    2) Make it assemble balanced teams. This will make it safer for those who are yet to get decent gear to join, because this way they won't be just dead weight for the team (if one team has a newbie, so does the other).

Well making DM and FM frequent would be nice, but can it get increased points? like 4k for 74 bf?

And BoA ad CTF should have bigger points, cause they are the most important types of battlefield in the game to gain points (especially during 50% BF + points) I dunno like making it 10k.

Making DM and FM frequent would be a good idea, as long as points increase and stuff :3

Wait for 30mins for 1 bf? I don't think this is a good idea. 20mins is enough too long for an active bf player. Keep it as what it was is best I think

Usually when we're spamming BF we even log out in between just to save on food buffs. Don't think it starting less often would make me go more.. but then again, I'm not really super into BF xD

From what I know, the teams are made randomly.
It's just usually bf is 2v2 so there aren't that many probabilities. If you get one winged character, then whichever team that winged character is on would most likely win.
It's all about the odds and luck really; depending on the situation, equipment and skills of a single player, the battlefield can become unbalanced.

They are not made randomly. For every pool of players there's only one team composition. I took my time to observe this.

    The teams are made randomly.
I tried a couple of bfs consecutively and I was stuck with the same person for 4 bfs before I logged off. I'm not sure why that happened, but...just so you know teams are created randomly at first.

Yeh it's completely random (as much as random can be), there is absolutely no variables taken into account when a team is made. Getting the same person on your team multiple times in a row is normal considering the few you usually have on each team. 50/50 chance. I said ages back I would look into changing that so the teams were more equal but before I can even consider doing that, the game needs a gear scoring system of some sort, and then I would have to make it so you couldn't unequip items once you joined a queue and god knows what else, otherwise the cheats would just equip crappy gear and then put their proper stuff on once it started. I guess I could probably do it based on titles to start with and try to make it so that each team gets a healer if there are even 2 queued.
