Heya all,
As reading the new thread about the removal or not of the ITD and after reading some opinions and talking to some players, it seems to me some of them show concerns with the fact that tanks and healers would be "unkillable". Although in my opinion tanks shouldn't be able to die easily, they shouldn't also be able to 1x1 any other class. After all they are
tanks, their purpose is to handle loads of damage and be able to survive, they're not primarily damage dealers. Their reflect of some-hundreds percent should be only for PvE and not PvP, but that's for another thread.
On the other hand, healers... healers are the biggest support class, and in any mmorpg they are usually the 1st target during PvP. You drop the healer and it's easier to drop the rest of the team. We all remember the old retail days where the healer was always the 1st target on a DM or comments on the party chat like "Yay we have a priest, we're gonna win!" In my opinion, healers shouldn't be unkillable, but they shouldn't be 1-2 shot either. As far as I tested with my own healer, if i remove my HP wings and my PvP items (pad, bracelet and medal) my HP goes down to a "normal" 42k, instead of my current ~80k. So my suggestion is to make some PvP gears with heal instead of stamina. It would make things more balanced.
Anyone who played a healer on retail probably remembers, we were level 65/66 with 14k HP and our heals were around 4k. Which means we would heal around 30% of our HP. Well if that would be true now, that means that healers with 80k HP like me and most of the winged healers would be healing around ~24k, which is unthinkable as it would outheal any damage received.
So if we could have PvP gear more towards other stats than just HP it would also help balancing the game, let's not forget that all PvP items gives +1% or +2% of attack which for a healer is as good as nothing, so it could be a different item with +1% or +2% of heal for example... Also, people have to understand that some classes are stronger than others and some have more survivability than others.
Note:
Someone said: "There is also a big difference between donators and non-donators" well, it's like that in all private servers of any game, here we still have it easier, as the premium items can be bought with a currency that we can trade ingame, meaning that if a player farms enough and put effort enough any person can reach the point of a donator without actually give a penny to the server...
