Hi Sedy.

I will speak purely from the POV of a saint (though I do own a L85 prophet, and part of this will be applicable there too.)

Your decision to start trying to remove cast time on future CQ gears and most of the 85 gears SUCKS.

It sucks big time. I'm sorry I have to be this blunt, but I've witnessed various people saying it politely and being totally ignored/brushed off.

Why does it suck?

1) We will die without it
Gasp. Shock. Horror. Really? YEAH. If our heal is not instant, even a sorc (magic rdps vs us, cloth users!!) will kill us. How? While we're trying to cast, they will use their interrupt. A wizard will stunlock us, and we'll be casting when they stun us again.

Not to mention, the amount of +ct debuffs floating around is insane. Templars have a 5sec debuff with a 10sec cd. So it goes like this: debuffed. -try to debuff self- -try to heal self/others- -try to run away- oh wait, debuffed by something else -debuff that- -debuffedwith +ct again- .... sigh.

2) Our overall heal per minute will go down
Have you seen the pathetic increase in healing that our new rods give us? Do try healing with that new rod vs our current rod. Tried it? Yeah. There isn't much difference to speak of.
And when you remove the CT, every increase in CT is a corresponding decrease in heal per minute. So. How am I benefiting from upgrading to L85 weapons that do not have CT? Am I supposed to only aim for the Nereus weapon?

3) Spirit step doesn't measure up to Spiritual blessing
With new gear, even fully fooded with -ct tarot etc, saint cannot reach 0ct. prophet can. So Saint gets to run around faster while prophets spit out an extra heal? PLUS. Now melee have the 'pull' skill, which totally negates any advantage of speed.

4) We're getting shortchanged on the rope skill. Magic reflect ?_? Maybe it will tickle for some heavy hitting sorcs, but on non-ITDs, it reflects maybe 300 points. Sure, you might say it's a party skill.. but gosh, why do sorcs and wizards have that awesomely useful rope skill then? It's more of a mail-user rope than anything else. At least put something like chance to get 60% reflect in our armor, then it might make a teensy bit of sense!

Anyway. Hope you will consider these points... thanks for reading.

PS. maybe a separate gear for saints?

Agree, to all of this. I've made similar points in my previous Saint Vs Prophet post, and little was done.

And another thing I'd like to point out about the MP problem since 3rd patch.. Templars having a Hp/Mp recovery skill is completely weird to me. Healers and magic users are sititng over here crying because we're using up so many MP pots and Templars don't ever run out of mp lol, they don't use MP. Seems like the skill was given to the wrong class. Yeah you can give the skill to other players but.. I've only had that happen to by one Templar, most of them don't have the time to go to someone with low MP and heal it up~ Tanks are killers & healers after this patch, that's why everyone is class changing into it lol. Tanks are supposed to just have a high absorb, not high dmg too. That's my opinion.

Agree. It's a sad day when a tank (supposed to be high def/low dmg) is a threat to a single-target healer (supposed to be able to outheal one-on-one). Even sadder day when that same tank can heal too.
