I loved Iris Online back when it was open. I played in this server before, but i really disliked some stuff that aren't really that much of a deal but it's me, eh. For example, I really disliked (and it bothered me for so long) is that using other games art. For example, Eden Eternal skill icons, Aura Kingdom costume parts, Fiesta online costume parts etc etc etc. There was one more thing that bothered me, there were no low-leveled players. I understand that its easy to level up, but all people I saw were literally 80+ which I felt lonely (I was 60s at that time as far as i can remember). But it was back then. So I came here to ask;

-How is the game doing ?
-Is the community dead ? (social status of the game is important since it makes the game more enjoyable)

    If those things you mention bothered you before, they probably still will. Art from other games is necessary since only I develop the game now, there is no retail to get new assets from. I'm not an artist or 3D modeller and even if I were it would not be possible for one person to do in a timely fashion anyway, so other game assets are necessary to bring new items and content to the game.

    There are usually some low level players online, but not many as it's so quick to level up as you mentioned. Since the game is quest driven, it's not always easy to level up with somebody, unless you both start at the same time and play at the same times so your quests remain in sync.

    The community is far from dead, but a lot of players prefer to socialise with their guild and guild union members, so it's important to join an active guild with players in your timezone :)

    Oh thanks, I know, It's hard for you to develop. But it still bothers me lol. And not for a reason. It's just that... I don't know... Maybe for the skills you could've reused the in-game icons?

    Yeh I did where where possible, but the majority of 3rd job skills were completely new or quite different to the 1st/2nd job skills and I didn't want to cause any unnecessary confusion by reusing existing skill images.
