I cheerfully donate from time to time because I understand that while the game is free to play, running the game is quite expensive. However, lately I find I don't really have anything to donate for other than to occasionally get moolah and sell it away XD And with farming how it is now, and newer items basically equalling donation items such as the BP mounts vs the moolah mounts, and the cloaks, etc... Not only do I feel that those who donate regularly are being critically overlooked, but also the value of moolah items already earned/purchased has sharply dropped. Like how I got 50 moolah for a mount and few weeks later a friend farmed ore for the same mount for 20 moolah less-_-

I would like to see another form of untradable currency for sale under donations with expensively sealable items that have different stat boosts and at a higher percent. Costumes and acc now all pretty much have the same stats, I'd like to see items with reflect, hp absorb, physical and magic absorb, all evasion, and other stats not seen as often and at like 35%. And PLEASE bring imprinting!!!

I think donations would increase dramatically, I feel there are a lot more people in a position to donate but don't due to the fact that its too easy to get in game and there really isn't too much of an advantage to donating real world cash for items that are so comparable to regular NPC ones, as well as the value dropping so harshly with what we have currently in game

You can already donate for the Bless pots that have a truly OP hp abs.

I don't really agree with having super OP items for moolah. It's not fun to play if the only thing I need is to spend money and Bam instant god mode. Sure maybe donations might increase for a month but then lots of people would quit. Plus, some of our population is underage and not able to donate.

Not to mention ... items with reflect 35%??? Are you kidding? lol. Would you wanna face an opponent with that item on? :D Or someone with 35% abs? Immortality gosh.

Why do you want items to be exclusive to people actually donating? The people farming moolah are also buying it from people who paid for it using IRL money.

Though I do agree it would be nice to have more items sold for moolah, I have no idea what they could be xD Maybe you could suggest some other items?

I have to be very careful when it comes to donation items because I don't want to be accused of being a greedy money grabbing bastard and I don't want to make the game completely pay-to-win, even though all free-to-play games actually are, whatever anyone tells you.

I always *try* to make every item in the game accessible to every type of player which is why Moolah is tradable and it's why Moolah items have equivalent Scrub's Tear or even Gold items and why Moolah items gradually filter down to become Scrub's Tears items when something new replaces it.

I would love to add more items to get more people donating but they need to be realistic items - not overpowered stuff that increases the gap between old and new players even more because it's already an issue. It's really no fun for a new player trying to establish themselves in a game completely dominated by donators with overpowered items if they don't have the ability to donate as well. I would not want to play that type of game and I'm trying very hard to raise our population at the moment, not scare people away.

I haven't advertised it but I recently made some changes to nsDB allowing you to buy items but at the moment it's mostly just the same moolah items that you can get in game from the vendors + the old moolah costumes with set effects and different stats and also the moolah costume bundles we used to have on Sedy NPC. I will probably be adding nsDB directly into the game too and start selling more items on there, possibly even some of the harder to obtain quest items for CQ for those that don't have the time or ability to get them, like new players.

Anyway, I'm always open to suggestions as you know so if you have ideas on new items then I'm all ears.

I don't agree to this too OP items for moolah. first of all, I have this motto :
"I don't usually use Moolah. But when I do, I trade it to All Stat IV or Diamond ores."
    2. If this happens, it'll be like "pay-to-win" game. It's not fair to ppl who can't afford to get moolah.
    3. having wings is a total advantage from ppl who doesn't use moolah. I guess this kind of suggestion can only be applied to 84/85 players.

iris isn't, wasn't, never will be, and was never designed as a "fair game" (ask a Priest or Sage how they feel about Fire Pit). People have no idea what an unfair Iris looks like haha. When I first played Iris, To get mounts like the tiger and manta AT 60% SPEED you had to buy lucky boxes which were like 10-15USD and AT THE VERY BEST only had around a 30% chance of giving the mount you paid to buy most of the time you get 3 dungeon reset cards. and 40USD for tears costumes. that was just the administration, won't even get into how unfair the gap was. That's how Iris was designed. THAT was greed. It was also a grind game, days of DQ and papers just to get to 30. Took me almost a year to get to level 60. Most pvp games aren't fair games. The NS team really did a crazy amount of work to make the game their own and I totally appreciate that. I

And fair or not they still cost a lot of money to run. And you're right, a lot of users ARE underage and can't donate, but at 32 and working two jobs, how is it fair that I'd end up having to buy 440 moolah USD to get the same carded gear as an underage kid who has time to farm around all day for free?

Also (more on this lower), i said trade the items not the money, and even if nothing was tradable it would still be a small amount of people that could donate that much for gear, and those that can already did with moolah. So it wouldn't be anymore broken then those who already have maxed out gear right now

"Why do you want items to be exclusive to people actually donating? The people farming moolah are also buying it from people who paid for it using IRL money."

because standing outside at night in-40C weather and 60KMH winds every night with blinding snow to park cars for 40 hours a week is NOT equal to sitting in your room listen to pandora mining ore. That's what I did to earn moolah. That's like sprinting 10K to win a race and getting the same thing everyone else got for showing up. That's about what it feels like. Not to mention with nothing new to buy for myself, how much more times should I buy/sell moolah to make what I have that much more common lol. That's like buying shoes that make you run faster to give an edge... then paying for all your rivals to have them too. That's why I WOULD want that, but what I said was...

have the ITEMS tradable not the currency

"I would like to see another form of untradable currency for sale under donations with expensively sealable items that have different stat boosts and at a higher percent. " ~Me earlier

Iris has gold, tears, moolah, and D.Ore... We don't need a fifth form of currency in game, the game needs more stuff to spend what we have on. Also if the items are seal/tradable, I feel that is more useful than the currency being tradable since they can be resold or traded as opposed to being stuck with items that will go obsolete (hand me downs to newer players) both don't need to be tradable. Also, by having a very high seal cost anyone can seal but it should sting a bit XD it shouldn't be so easy to trade, this game is so easy people think it's unfair to have to walk to mailboxes lol

It's understandable where you are coming from. We've all had to bust our asses to buy the things we want. But buying for a game is a want not a need.

You want to be different from people and have things they don't have but the thing is a game that lets items only be donator exclusive makes for a very fail game.

People yes work there ass off in game and collectively make it to a point to where a donator can get the item for them with trading their moolah. This is the donators own choice to do this. No donator ever had to give moolah up to a player it was their choices to circulate through the system because a donator is too "lazy" to farm for items or gold. I can say that I was lazy and bought items with large amounts of tears back in the day when that was what you could buy.

Making donor exclusive items where no one can touch them would have to be on his side and not in game where other players can touch. Sedy can decide on that but eventually it would be released to the public down the road.

Also I didn't see an answer on the imprinting thing but that wouldn't be possible because we have an older source code and need a newer source code to get it.

I have used a saint in fire pit and won :) My guildmate has used a prophet in fire pit and won so... I'm not sure what your point there is. Heh. Try playing DM with a healer-only party. That's crappy.
I'm not sure if you've farmed for ores before. But it can take up to over an hour to get a single diamond if you're unlucky. Then you're gonna exchange 4 of them for 1 moolah. So.. maybe on average you are earning less than 1 USD per hour, at the current 3-4 ores per moolah. It may not be physically as demanding as the job you have described, but it's not exactly "cheap" in terms of the time players spend doing it. There is nothing forcing you to sell moolah. Generally people sell it to buy stuff they want but don't want or can't obtain themself.
Even if the currency is untradable. There is nothing stopping players from making private deals to buy it from players who donate. All this would do is make it less convenient and more prone to scamming. Which would create unnecessary work for Sedy when players whine about said scams.
You said there should be more stuff to spend on. Like what? Describe an exact item with stats?

Darcel, I have repeatedly said, the items should be sealable regular seals just a heavy amount, which would boost VH and dungeon activity to farm for enough. Everything in the game comes too easy now I feel. And nothing about laziness, I have a super busy rl, I don't have time, if you check my log ins im usually not on for long periods of time or I would donate and farm. Having an untradable currency (hopefully the same price as moolah) Moolah is at a good price, adding more items to moolah would spike it way too high. Adding another currency to the game I think would cause unnecessary restructurings of rates. having the items tradable wouldn't be different than selling a currency directly, and no more able to scam than scams that currently happen with cards in market from time to time. Or how the moolah emblem was changed due to scamming.

I've said this every post. IT WOULDN'T BE TOTALLY EXCLUSIVE.

In fact just having those items with, say a red border, would be harder to scam then anything else.

Spunny, first off everything in the game is private deals. even moolah sales now. It wouldn't be any different. And you also forgot about leveling, CQ (Do you have any idea how hard it was to catch bosses when you work two jobs and have to sleep? Sl glad that's over x_x ) And even if I buy all the gear at once and every card I still have to level. And just as there is moolah sellers now there will be sellers then, but it's more of a preview for those that donate since they'd be the traders as moolah sellers are to begin with instead of new moolah items that everyone has 10 minutes after updates

I would really like to see cards that significantly boost single or at the most 3stats (especially since you can control the owned amount of cards) instead of allstats. I would like to see reflect, magic eva, hp absorb, long distance (pleeeease make :D), physical atk speed, and aggro cards play a role in char building. But at like... OH I said 45% I meant +45 similar to how the wearing cards are, but for items. especially in lieu of imprints but as dual cards like eva resistance. or maybe even triple stats. I think that would make players more unique than anything and promote working on a build rather than farming or buying blanket allstats. Which would still be very useful but not as easy to completely rely on
