CHRISTMAS
Christmas events and quests are now active and some of the quest rewards have been increased this year.

Added a new Christmas event, Hunt the Christmas Shushu.

The Christmas Shushu likes to roam and play in the snow around Arcana, and always carries some of his favourite Christmas foods wherever he goes. Think you can find him?

MONSTERS
Reduced the damage range of Falling Crystals in Hall of Crystalisk Insane. You will take damage from the falling crystal if you are within 2m of it when it lands.
Increased the delay between individual Falling Crystals spawned by Rhinestone. This will result in about half as many falling crystals.
Increased the spread of Falling Crystals which should result in less gang-bangs from bunched up crystals all falling in one place.
Falling Crystal damage % reduced enough that a decent healing potion (30% and higher) used between two hits will save you.
Bend Time DoT ticks from Crystalisk are now 5k per 2s for 20s (was 5k per 1s) and Rhinestone's remains at 5k per 2s.
Fixed attack skill animations of Spawn of Crystalisk and Spawn of Rhinestone transformations in Hall of Crystalisk Insane. Fire should come from their mouths now and not from the targets arse.

I haven't been able to do anything about the random invisible Falling Crystals so far. It does happen, I confirmed it whilst testing, and it seems to depend on your viewing angle and other effects currently displayed in the same location. Sometimes the falling crystal animation just doesn't show up until you turn your camera slightly, and by then it's too late. However, since the above changes should reduce the chance of getting multiple bunched up crystals falling on you, taking a hit from one invisible crystal won't be so big a problem now, unless you're really really unlucky and get two invisibles lol.


SKILLS
Barbarian
Warrior's Will now immunises againt Knockbacks and Pulls.

Myrmidon
Backdraft fixed for female characters.

Scout
Armor-Piercing Shot 2 now ignores 55/60% Physical Defense.

Sniper
Conflagrated Barrage 2 fixed to apply to upto 6 targets.
Buckshot 3 fixed to apply to upto 6 targets.
Engage now reduces the Sniper's Physical and Magical Defense by 15/25/30% instead of reducing Physical Absorb.
Disengage now reduces the Sniper's Ranged Attack Power by 10/18/25% instead of Skill Paralysis allowing them to retaliate still but at a diminished rate.
Track now reduces the target's Attack Speed by 7%/15% and size increased removed.


ITEMS
Costumes
Fixed the moolah hat costumes. They had the wrong models.

Drops
Drops fixed for sure this time. We had lots of missing entries on the live server since the last update. Sorry, only noticed it last night whilst doing the following:

Nereus
Recipes, Potions, Title and Temporary mounts drop rate increased.

Crystalisk Hard
Potions drop rate increased.

Crystalisk Insane
Potions drop rate increased.

Sandstorm Tundro and Sakun
Potions, Title, Combobulator drop rate increased
All armor changed to Unique/Epic 40/60% drop rate chance.

Payaso Hard
Armor, Cards, Spreads, Mount, Charms etc. drop rate increased.

Payaso Insane
Potions, Cards, Title, Spreads drop rate increased.

Arcturis Hard
Fissures, Spreads, Mounts, Leg Armor and Weapons drop rate increased.

Feralas, Rhyolite, Trachyte and Kraken Hard
Fissures drop rate increased.


GAME MECHANICS
Damage Absorb
Fixed and reintroduced the Damage Absorb cap mechanics. It was removed before because it messed with monster skills and abilities and broke several encounters and also broke several 3rd job skills that relied on 100% absorb. The new cap on both Physical and Magical Damage Absorb gained from player skills, armor, monster transformations and their related skills, potions and other consumables will be 80% max. Yep it's 10% lower than before but I believe it's within reason for such a game changing (breaking?) stat.
Skills that specifically state 100% absorb in their tooltip such as the Wind Walker's Danger Evasion 2 are not capped.
Monster abilities that use absorb mechanics (Decomus magical gate, Laioha Octopus, etc.) are not capped.

Battlefield AFK System
The battlefield AFK reporting system now requires only 2 players to report another player as being AFK. Please use it wisely. Anyone found abusing the system to kick players for any other reason than being AFK or Feeding will be punished. You may not use this system to remove people you do not like, undergeared or inexperienced players etc.

Battlefield Reporting
Players reported to us here on the website for repeatedly going AFK, feeding their friends, abusing, harrassment, exploiting or anything else we consider against the rules will now receive a permanent debuff preventing them from joining battlefields. This debuff can only be removed by the administration or possibly by using an EXPENSIVE potion, so do yourselves a favour and follow the few rules we have for battlefields. If anyone wishes to make a report, please provide screenshots or videos as proof and explain exactly why you are reporting the player.
