I've attached the description below, this skill seems kinda strong with just this descriptions in a glance. But upon some testing, we've found out that it NEVER MISSES. In the tests we've tried, we got Magic evasion up to 400%+ (with Beastial Instincts).
And some Vanquishers I've talked to have confirmed this. This never miss "hidden feature" of this skill makes it pretty OP/imbalanced imo. What are your thoughts on this?
Summary:
No cooldown within the 7 seconds it can be used
Instant cast
ITD 50% magic def
50% bonus magic dmg
Dash-running skill with 12.0m range
Hidden feature (not in descriptions): NEVER MISSES

This skill is supposed to be the Vanquisher's ultimate and make them viable against high physical defense targets and evasion stackers. It's not supposed to miss, ever. However, when we made the skill I wanted to add a small cooldown between each jump to at least give the opponent a chance to use a defensive skill or potion etc. so I will retest this skill with a 1s cooldown between each use of Celestial Slaughter.
I didn't (and still don't) want to add any long-lasting +hit buffs since it would completely overpower the job's other skills and allow them to completely ignore collecting +hit from items.

While I understand that it is frustrating to always miss on mail-users, what i want to comment on is not related to hit-chance.
This skill can be used on everyone, not just mail users.
So Vanqs, now have Phy ITDs (that really hurt btw) and a magical ITD that can be spammed. So, once you are targeted by a Vanq who is sufficiently built, it's pretty much 99% chance of dying once you add in their Duel/stuns/silences.
It feels kinda like... Sorc/Wiz with a phy ITD that lasts for 7 sec~
Is this intended? That one class can kill any other class? Even abs pots are of no use, because they can simply use the other type of ITD?

The perfect hit on Celestial Slaughter is what makes the skill SUPER OP. Why not instead of perfect hits, can the celestial be dependent on the physical hit the user has?
And yeah, adding more +hit buff will definitely overpower the job.

in a test that we did last night, our vanq was able to land 5 of those within the 7 seconds duration of that skill. imagine being hit 5 times consecutively of 50% magic ITD, and even if i run away, it's a 12m dash skill.

it would be so messed up if we'll evade a magical attack with physical eva.. and what about the defense? will it be defended by physical defense too? if that will be the case, what's the point of categorizing it as a magical attack?

Why not just leave it as is? How many Vanqs are there? How can this be such a problem if it's not an overpopulated class with ubermegasuperduper damage? I think it's fine as it is for now. At the absolute most the 1s 'cd' period before each use would be appropriate but certainly nothing more.

There is a card that can counter Vanquisher's Celestial Slaughter, if you know which one is it. someone just said, * Classes have different ways to counter each other* and a lot of tran cards can help you too, right?

Finally someone posted about this! Yeah! it's so OP! I mean, it's like instant death to anyone targeted. The only way I can think of countering this is by using a Advanced Potion of Passion (or something alike). Unless if you really have a very large amount of HP like Templars, you'll die in 2-4 hits. I mean, it's a sure hit! >_<
I already have roughly 100k HP and this hits me like 50k per hit, and they hit so fast. Even if try to move, the skill itself has 12m dash like Notrom said. If you've been nerfing wind walkers because of small issues, then this should be nerfed too!

well vanq are two hand users they are high dmg dealer so im not surprise about the dmg they can do like how the sharpshooter got bomb sleep crap for heavy dmg and wind walkers got sleep and trap also you guys the nice healing free skill so i don't see much problem with it if you think about it champion and templar high ridiclouse high def and hp melee users would hit 300s to 900s max dmg too them while they pushing 100k+hp the only thing i would say add cooldown too it would fix the issues if there is and issue too begins with

If it doesn't never miss you can remove it as well since vanq got none magic hit chance. Just give me some buffs with hit chance instead of that skill then. Every mail class got some buffs with evasion, can also lower my hit chance while on vanq I got just one buff with hit for only 2 seconds and can't lower evasion.
This magic damage skill is like the only one way to kill eva type class, especially now since they don't have lower hp anymore, darcel's accesories give them both, hp and evasion.

this skill u see actually fails alot.. and have so many ways to counter it,,.. u guys just have to learn how to counter it,, especially for mail users if u play ur cards right, countering that skills is easy as abc.. and about the 12m range,, i wudnt really say it is 12m cause if u are not in range for meelee skills skills u can be sure this skill has 90% chance of failing and not hitting u at all

im fairly sure you guys get at least hit rate buff or passive buff that increase yall hit rate reason mails class like you state got hit rate obviously dagger users, gun users. are both classes would normally get hit rate buff long range always have something related with hit rate after all they long range specialist. as for daggers they are more assassin style so ofc they either get hit rate or critical rate

nah Dont whine Fae. Its logical for them for a Berserker who train only physically to be having a non miss ITD vs magical class who have been learning magic all their life to miss on mail class

i'm not sure with other mail users, but definitely wind walkers doesn't have a debuff that lowers hit chance. it's nice to know that even Wadi is willing to remove that never miss feature

This is a nice suggestion coming from one of the strongest, if not the strongest, Vanquisher. Maybe just give that buff they need to use Celestial Slaughter a + hit chance component?

Hmmm, the food buffs gives more power attached to everyone's favor. I suggest to remove it while in BF matches? An NPC food buffs is enough. Or atleast make the injector available on NPC with (15 secs CD) so that everyone's "ultimate" can be countered. QQ's might lessen. Give all an easy life. -___-'

I still don't get why this thread is ongoing. It's a unique skill that the Vanquisher has, it isn't game destroying and doesn't turn the class into a godly, unkillable monster.
Heres an idea for you all, why doesn't Sedy give ALL the classes ALL the same skills? Maybe then you lot can stop your whining about OP skills, although you'll probably complain that all the stuff is the same and boring or people are hacking which is why they are better etc etc etc

its because its not fair to magic users who cant defend themselves. that's y us magic users has a reset skill to sort of balance things out giving us extra help.
