Deathmatch is chaotic team vs team battlefield with up to 18 players per side battling it out to destroy the enemy guardstone, and each other!
Tiers
There are 5 tiers of Deathmatch: Tier 1 for level 20-40 players, Tier 2 for level 41-60 players, Tier 3 for level 61-74 players, Tier 4 for level 75-84 players and finally Tier 5 for level 85 players. Upon entry, your character's level is increased to the maximum for that tier, so if you are level 50, you will enter the Tier 3 Deathmatch and your level will be increased to 60.
Entry
Players above level 20 will be invited to join Deathmatch every 80 minutes and the teams are created automatically and randomly. You will be assigned to the
Blue Team or the
Red Team. Upon entry, you will have 2 minutes to prepare yourself and the rest of your team before the battlefield gates open and a 10 minute timer begins.
The Map
The Blue Team's base and starting point is shown on the map below with the blue flag and the red team with the red flag. Whilst inside your base, you receive the
Moral Rise buff, granting increased movement speed and attack power. However, if you enter the enemy base you will receive the
Moral Declinedebuff, reducing your movement speed and attack power. To the side of your base are two teleporters offering an alternative route to the other side of the map.
Aim of the Game
The aim of Deathmatch is to obtain 50 points before the enemy or before the game ends in 10 minutes. Points are obtained in several ways, starting with killing enemy players, killing their leader, and finally by destroying the enemy guardstone.
Leaders
Leaders are chosen randomly and award 5 points when killed. Players chosen to be leaders are given the
Head Guard buff granting them increased HP and Attack Power, and their surrounding teammates the
Head Center buff granting increased Attack Power.
Guardstone
The guardstone is located near to the enemy base and destroying it awards 10 points. Destroyed guardstones will regenerate and respawn within 2 minutes.
